Rescue is no joke.
It’s stressful, frustrating, draining, & heartbreaking.
It’s giving up countless hours of your life.
It’s continually sacrificing time with friends and family.
It’s little to no self care.
It’s late nights and early mornings.
It’s multitasking while driving to events and vet appts.
It’s constant debt and begging for donations, supplies, fosters.
It’s crying more than smiling.
It’s losing more than winning.
It’s loss and sadness.
It’s always questioning motivations.
It’s endless anxiety and worry.
It’s seeing the worst of humanity and still waking up everyday with the hope of saving even just one little life.
It’s putting all the heartache aside to make difference.

Please, please support local rescues & shelters by fostering, donating, pledging, adopting or volunteering.

Most rescues/rescuers have jobs, careers, & families in addition to running a non profit rescue.
It only takes a minute to share urgent posts, stories, & fundraisers that can help animals be seen and rescues receive much needed support.

For my birthday this year, I’d like to support a local rescue whose saved so many unwanted, abandoned, stray feral and sick kitties.
Every dollar counts. 🥰 by @chastasmic

Due to some great teamwork, we were able to pull Buster from Devore Shelter today!
Thanks to everyone who had a part in getting him safe! You know who you are 🙏🏻

Made a quick little freedom video since I know quite a few people are invested in his fate.

Rescued by @kittcrusaders 😻
Please donate! 🥰

🚨 DEVORE URGENT LIST FOR 10/1/26 🚨

Immediate assistance needed from Rescue Partners!
Highest at risk of humane euthanasia due to medical conditions, behavioral concerns, or limited kennel space.
Animals categorized as, “Urgent - Most At Risk” (highlighted in orange), will be prioritized and therefore need rescue commitment without delay.
While euthanasia may not occur daily, animals on this list are the most vulnerable if space or conditions deteriorate.

This list is updated daily at approximately 4PM.
Rescue Partners have until the end of the following business day to confirm commitment and schedule pickup.
Please note: ‘rescue interest does not equate to rescue commitment.
Further, euthanasia may occur at any time due to unforeseen circumstances, worsening medical conditions or behavioral concerns, or capacity challenges.
Please note: rescuing any animal may help protect others by freeing up kennel space.

If you can help, please contact the shelter asap at:
