Everybody gets on here and posts the good, but rarely the bad… so let me go first.

This journey has NOT been a walk in the park. I maxed out credit cards and tore up my credit just trying to stay afloat. I literally lived off of my closet, selling my valuables just to make it through. Dumped my savings. I almost lost my mom during this time, and somehow I still found a way to carry her on my back.

Flopped businesses/couldn’t work because I was working 30–40 hours a week for FREE in clinicals on top of school.

But one thing I didn’t do was revert back to the world. I sat still and allowed God to do what He was trying to do in me. I stopped drinking for almost a year. I got in my Word. I allowed Him to prune me.

I lost myself so many times. There were days I genuinely didn’t know how I was going to see my way out, but I leaned into God, and He saw me through EVERY TIME.

I say all this to say: TRUST HIM. The bigger the sacrifice, the greater the reward. Keep pushing even when nobody sees what it’s costing you.

this isn’t the end. I have 17 more months before I have Doctor in front of my name. This is only a pit stop. But for now I MASTERED IT
