I don’t edit videos anymore. I just give it one prompt and the whole thing is done for me.

1 hour of footage, 2 cameras, speakers talking over each other, filler words everywhere. Normally a 4 hour edit.

I dropped both recordings into Codex with ChatCut connected and typed: clean this up, remove filler words and awkward pauses from both speakers, auto-assign each line to the right person, add dynamic captions and auto-zoom.

Captions, pauses, motion graphics, all handled.

And if I want to tweak anything I just delete or modify a word in the captions. Feels like editing a Google Doc.

I recreated a $500 motion graphic with one screenshot and a single command.

I saw a graphic I wanted, took a screenshot, dragged it into Codex with the ChatCut plugin connected and typed: make a similar motion graphic that fits my video.

Finished graphic, right on my timeline over my footage. Done.

And when I did not have a reference I just asked the agent to recommend a style and it went from there.

30 minutes of editing done in 10 seconds. I just typed what I wanted and ChatCut did the rest.

I dropped my clip into Codex with the ChatCut plugin connected and typed: clean this up, remove filler words, cut awkward pauses, keep only my best takes, make the pacing tight.

That was it. It found the best takes automatically, killed every um and tightened the whole thing without me touching anything.

Editing has always been the biggest bottleneck in my content workflow 🫠

Been testing @chatcutapp lately:
it learns my editing style from my previous videos,
and I can just chat with it to make the cuts

Still takes some training to get the editing skills exactly how I want them, but it’s already cut my editing workload by almost half.
