Château Désir: The Market Recap 💐Our biggest market yet!! Thank you to everyone who showed up to support our vendors! I’m overwhelmed with joy seeing how many people who just saw a TikTok video decide to come out and spend their Sunday at The Market. Thank you for pouring back into your community! I hope you found your new favorite brand to support. Super thankful to have our matcha @ceremony.brand and henna @615.henna activations. Thank you to @falla_the_smoke for keeping everyone fed. Thank you to Alie at @theforgenashville for seeing the vision and helping me make it happen! I think Nashville has to be a reoccurring city for The Market at this point. House of Désir, where you feel at home no matter who you are or where you come from. 🌺 Making my ideas a reality and having so many people support me in the process is an anxiety inducing yet fulfilling experience. Bringing The Market to Nashville was equally exciting and terrifying because in the words of Erykah Badu, “I’m sensitive about my s***.” Putting my ideas on a silver platter for anyone to judge is scary but at the same time…..who cares, we live on a floating rock! Seeing people believe in my vision as much as I do is so heartwarming and I hope every vendor I bombarded with emails, every attendee, every friend that sent words of encouragement knows that I truly appreciate you and I promise I will never forget the support you gave me.
