POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

My heart has been heavy the last couple of weeks❤️‍🩹having to witness my people getting ripped away from everything they know and love and treated like animals in a country that has always prided itself on being the land of freedom and opportunity. So many hopes and dreams are being ripped away and it genuinely breaks my heart thinking about it. Chatito and Chatita are characters made as a love letter to immigrants especially undocumented immigrants. And getting to see the love people have shown to the characters and what they stand for means so much❤️ immigrants deserve to be seen, respected, treated with dignity and our stories deserve to be told🇲🇽🇵🇪🇨🇴🇧🇴🇨🇺🇻🇪🇧🇷🇬🇹🇧🇿🇩🇴🇸🇻🇭🇳🇵🇦🇳🇮🇵🇾🇨🇱🇭🇹🇺🇾🇨🇷🇪🇨

Hiii u guys! I know my show was a bit over a month ago pero I never really got to share my overall thoughts simply cuz I’ve had a busy month and I’ve been letting it all sink in! First and foremost I really wanna say that I’m really glad that my work has been able to tract attention to the immigration issues that have heavily impacted immigrants in all communities throughout the US. I’m glad that through art, we’ve come together multiple times in order to raise money and directly support those impacted! Muchisimas gracias a ustedes! Second of all I’d like to say how grateful and honored I feel that people like my art enough to even showed up🥲 Still trying to wrap my head around the idea pero genuinely thank you so much to everyone who came and has been supportive of my work! Doing this has been on my bucket list for such a long time especially since I’m passionate about art and migration issues due to how heavily our community’s are impacted. and what better time to do this than now when it’s such a crucial and important topic. it’s motivated me more than ever to create more, can’t wait to share w u guys what I’ve been cooking 🧑‍🍳 🫶🏼
Thank you again to everyone that helped me put everything together!!!
Con mucho amor y cariño
-Chatito

Many law firms spend big money to hire marketing firms in downtown. They hire people who don’t really know the city.

Not us. I find the best local talent and I hire them to do work for us. This is part of how we give back to the community.

So when I saw @chatitosart work and what it stood for I just knew we had to work with him. He not only a great artist from Chicago, he is also a champion for the community. His work always stands for something and those are the kinds of people we want to work with.

We wanted to do something different so he came up with my own Moe the Lawyer loteria card and I think it’s absolutely amazing!

We will always support our local talent. We’ll keep those stuff River North and Gold Coast stuff agencies for the out of touch stuff law firms.

We represent the REAL Chicago and all of our amazing talent.

Let me know in the comments what you all think of this! by @chatitosart

As long as I have a brush and paints my art will forever be “political” (if that’s what you even want to call it) and l’ll forever use my art to fight for that’s right #undocumentedfamilies #undocumentedimmigrants
