Whose fault? 🤑

What’s your take?

Just to be clear, I’m not blaming or hating on anyone. That’s racing, and I know exactly what I signed up for it can be dangerous. I’m just curious to hear your opinions et faire parler les gens 🎤😜

Part 2 of « Chemin de la Polytechnique, one of the punchy segments on the World Championships course 🌈 »

@charlesouimet a décidé de trash talk avec ses 3 secondes d’avance sur moi, donc pas eu le choix d’y retourner et moi je voulais faire un top 10 🔥

The speed was there. The power was there.
Beat Charles as planned lol
1min PR @ 725w ⚡️
Only problem @strava thinks I was in a vehicle and flagged the effort so the time isn’t official yet.

**UPDATED: 1:13 and P9 🏆

With a favorable wind and that kind of W/kg… pretty sure there’s a top 5 in there with my leadout man @sim_gingras 👀

@charlesouimet m’avait donné une raison d’y retourner… maintenant, est-ce que je viens de lui en donner une selon vous ?😂

La fois où je suis tombé sur Victor Campenaerts dans une ruelle !!

What a gentleman and what a beast. Such a genuinely humble person!

Je pense que c’est exactement pour ça qu’on l’aime autant. I think that’s exactly why we love him
Thank you @campenaertsvictor 🐝🙏🏻

What a night 🔥
You can feel the energy from the start.

A two-man break went up the road early with my teammate in it. A chase group formed behind, and from there it was full gas all the way to the finish.

Merci d’être venus en grand nombre! 🫶

Montée Camillien Houde
Ok, now it’s my turn to do a leadout for @sim_gingras 😤

Goal was to get him into the top 10 on CH, mais honnêtement le top 10 est vraiment solide et pas facile à aller chercher.

First attempt with a not so favorable wind, and he still managed to go sub 4 minutes. Mais pas assez pour le top 10 cette fois, mais clairement il pourrait l’avoir.

Ce n’est que partie remise si les gars du world tour sont pas trop voraces ce dimanche . A bit more practice, better timing and a more coordinated leadout, and we’ll give it another shot.

So we switched the plan and decided to go for the kilo instead.

Résultat : KOM sur la première partie de CH 👑 and 2nd on the kilo, juste derrière @robinhood1924 👀

Pretty solid plan B if you ask me 😂

To be continued…
