A PUBLIC STATEMENT TO OUR AFRICAN COMMUNITY IN FINLAND 🇫🇮 🌍✊🏾 I’ve noticed that we have so many talented individuals within our African communities — designers, photographers, videographers, decorators, event planners, and many other creatives with incredible gifts and skills. Yet, it’s honestly disappointing to see how some people only support those they personally know while overlooking, undermining, or even tearing others down because of personal opinions or past disagreements. THIS NEEDS TO STOP! Why are we competing against each other when we could be building together? Why do personal differences have to determine whether we support someone’s talent, business, or dreams? No one is better than anyone else. Someone else’s success does not take away from yours. There is room for all of us to grow, thrive, and win! We can ALL eat. We can ALL win. And we can ALL succeed together! 🤝🏾❤️ Let’s stop making everything a competition. Let’s stop allowing personal feelings to stand in the way of genuine support. You don’t have to be best friends with someone to acknowledge their talent, recommend their services, share their work, or celebrate their achievements. Support your brother. Support your sister. Support the talent. Support the dream. Support the business. Don’t just support people because you know them. Support them because you genuinely want to see them succeed, too. Our community will grow stronger when we learn to celebrate one another instead of competing, comparing, and tearing each other down. There is power in unity, collaboration, and collective success. Let’s practise what we preach and start showing up for one another! When one of us wins, it should inspire the rest of us — not threaten us. ❤️🌍 📸 @passion_arts_media #chatwithmissd#bethechangeyouwanttoseeintheworld #positivity by @chatwithmissd

What’s the biggest red flag in female friendship that nobody talks about? 👀💗 On 14 .10.2026, I’ll be joined by three amazing women Carisha Sadiki, Kiki Boateng & Anne Nickström for an honest conversation about friendship, loyalty, boundaries, jealousy, communication and the things we often don’t say out loud. 📍 Myyrmäki Library 📅 14 October ⏰ 17:00–18:30 Come with your experiences, your opinions and your questions. Let’s have the conversation we don’t usually have. 🗣️💗 #chatwithmissd#suomi#paneldiscussion #friendship by @chatwithmissd
Friendship should feel like support, not competition. Sometimes the red flags are not loud. They show up in the lack of effort, the silent jealousy, the absence of support, or the way your vulnerability is used against you. Not everyone in your circle is meant to stay in your life forever — and that’s okay. Pay attention. Protect your peace. Choose friendships that are mutual, genuine, and safe. 🚩💗 Have you ever experienced a friendship red flag? Let’s talk. 👇🏽 #FriendshipRedFlags #HealthyFriendships #GirlTalk #RealConversations #chatwithmissd by @chatwithmissd
A heartfelt thank you to @afars_finland for partnering with us and helping bring this beautiful initiative to life. Women courageously shared their personal stories, traumas, struggles, and hopes in a safe, judgment-free space. We ended the evening in prayer, reminding one another that healing begins the moment you talk about what you’ve been carrying. This gathering confirmed one thing—our community needs more spaces like this. That’s why we’ve decided to host a Women’s Healing Circle every month. Thank you to every woman who trusted us with her story. Your courage reminded us that none of us has to heal alone. ❤️ Community over isolation. Healing over silence. 🤍 #chatwithmissd#afars#mentalhealthawareness#healing by @chatwithmissd
Healing Begins… 💗 Healing begins the moment a woman feels safe enough to speak and knows that she is heard, she’s not alone. Together with @afars_finland AFARS – Anti-Racism Society Finland, we’re creating space to raise awareness around trauma, racism, discrimination, single motherhood, unhealthy relationships, and the everyday challenges many women silently go through. This private healing circle is more than a conversation—it’s a safe space to connect, heal, grow, and remind each other that no woman has to walk her journey alone. #mentalhealth #womenhealing#chatwithmissd#afars #safespace by @chatwithmissd
We all have that one story… the friendship that taught us the hardest lesson. 👀 Share your worst betrayal experience and tell us—what was the red flag you ignored? 👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾 #chatwithmissd#finland#spillthetea #letstalkaboutit by @chatwithmissd
Friendships shape who we become. They can heal us, challenge us, and remind us that we’re not alone. But they can also leave us questioning our worth when they’re no longer healthy. We often talk about romantic relationships, but we rarely have honest conversations about female friendships the beautiful moments, the silent struggles, the unspoken competition, and the red flags we overlook. That’s exactly why we’re having this conversation. So, let’s talk… What’s the biggest red flag in a female friendship that nobody talks about? Share your thoughts in the comments. Your perspective might be exactly what someone else needs to hear #chatwithmissd#talkshow#finland# by @chatwithmissd
