But through everything that was thrown at us, we must never give up on hope. I have hope for our lives and our future. Sometimes life punches, and it hits hard, but being resilient is getting back up, and finding a way to make it through the middle of the storm, and not just waiting for the wind to be over. I made it a choice to pluck out every negative word or seed of doubt like an evasive weed and planted seeds of hope through the inspiration of other people’s stories of success and healing. Taking one day at a time in faith, I control what’s within my control, and the rest I turn over to God! That is where I find peace and hope and perseverance. This battle was not for me alone, but everyone who feels like giving up. The fight I fought, I fight for you. We are not alone. We are in this together. I am my sister’s keeper.
