Junior season. So much could be said, but I’ll start by saying we are STATE CHAMPIONS. This year some drastic change happened in my life, I had a hard winter, crashed my car, had surgery, and I just wasn’t feeling like myself. I even made the choice to quit travel ball after deciding softball was no longer my passion. I considered quitting completely and doing something different for high school. Coach Carol had to beg me to come to tryouts, and thank the lord I did. I couldn’t ask for a better, more tight-knit team than this one. Softball has created so many special relationships with so many people and I couldn’t be more thankful. Practices and games gave me something to look forward to. Experiences like this entire season are what make putting in the dedication and effort so easy. What I’ve learned is love for the game never goes away, it can just grow distant and sometimes all you need is a great team full of talent to bring it back. #eaglenation taken in North Dorchester High School by @chaylacreighton
