🍂🤎 HAPPY THANKSGIVING! 🤎🍂

It’s easy to remember to be thankful on Thanksgiving Day, yet sometimes, when we’re asked to name the things we’re grateful for, we struggle to find the words.

Thanksgiving is about celebrating our blessings, but I believe gratitude goes beyond the good times. Let us also be thankful for the grief, the pain, and the difficult seasons, because even in our darkest moments, there is growth, there are lessons, and, by God’s grace, there is joy on the other side.

Today, I am thankful for you: my colleagues, my friends, my family, and even myself. Above all, I am thankful that I have God, whose presence reminds me that no experience is ever wasted when He is part of my story.

I am thankful for the experiences that could have broken me but instead contributed to my growth. I am thankful for the challenges that stretched me, tested me, and brought me to my knees, because they reminded me that God was, and still is, working in my life. I am thankful for the people who pushed me out of spaces I thought I needed to be in, because they helped me find my way to where I was meant to be.

And yes, I will be a little petty and thank the haters too! 😂 Because sometimes, the very people who wish you the worst unknowingly push you closer to the One who has always wanted the best for you. Without the hate, perhaps I might not have come to appreciate the love of God in quite the same way.

So, this Thanksgiving, I am grateful for the beautiful, the painful, the unexpected, and even the uncomfortable. Every season has taught me something, every experience has shaped me, and through it all, God has remained faithful.

Today, I am not just thankful for what went right; I am thankful for what went wrong and for the person I am becoming because of it. 🙏🏽❤️

Happy Thanksgiving! May we always find a reason to give thanks, in every season and through every circumstance.

The most beautiful thing about a New Year is the sense of hope it carries. It is a reminder that no matter what the past held, the horizon is filled with fresh opportunities and the promise of a clean slate.
