Tomorrow my best friend will under go an awake craniotomy to remove a grade 2 Glioma, or “Rico” as we call it. I remember the day she began experiencing symptoms and she told me that it could possibly be a brain tumor. I kept telling her there was no way and it had to be something minor. Well, I was wrong and my heart broke for her. We have been through so many things but nothing as terrifying as the phrase, “brain tumor.” However, if you were to look at Devin you would see so much grace and elegance in the way she handles Rico. She immediately casted her worries and anxiety onto the Lord instead of questioning him. There’s something so admirable about that.

So to my Devy, my sugar bear, my soul sister, I love you. There aren’t enough words to tell you how much our friendship means to me. The recovery will be long, but I will be there every step of the way. Thank you for sticking by me! I get to repay the favor for the next few months lol. I thank you for our constant laughs and the CRAZY memories we have together. Can’t wait to rock trucker hats with you 💌💌💌💌
