Swipe for the new blanket commission I just completed! 🧶 8 feet in diameter, I began working on this with no client in mind, but someone saw the very start of the blanket and said, “I want that for my wife.” He said it’s something they would cherish and pass down to their children. I’m honored to have my work hold a place in someone’s home, keeping them and their kids warm and cozy and held in love for generations to come. ✨

This customer accidentally donated a late grandmother’s handmade blanket, and came to me to request a replacement. She brought the yarn from the grandmother’s collection, and just requested that I have fun with it. That I make it a labor of love.

It is indeed a labor of love. A seven point star of 9 feet in diameter, I hope this cozy blanket will serve as a special reminder that our spark shines brightly long after we are gone.
