When The Jungle started… it was just an idea. A vision to give Buffalo something it had never seen before. A platform where local players could compete, earn exposure, and build their names. It all started at LA Fitness. When we couldn’t continue there anymore, @xgenelite gave The Jungle a home, and we kept building. Then opportunity met preparation. When I found out Devontae Friga was coming to Buffalo, I challenged him and his team. We connected, talked behind the scenes, and I guess he respected the energy. He asked me one thing: if he was going to make the trip, I had to help promote it and make sure Buffalo showed up. I was all in. Then, just days before the event, everything almost fell apart when the original courts were no longer available. It looked like it might not happen. That’s when the community stepped up. A huge thank you to @last1_best1_training for opening your doors and giving us a place to make this event happen. Without that, none of this would’ve been possible. That’s what Buffalo is about people coming together to make something special happen. The night before the event, I got one hour of sleep. I couldn’t stop thinking about it because I knew this was bigger than basketball. It was an opportunity to put our city on display. Thank you to every player who believed in this vision, my co-host @dee_dray , our ref @daveornelson , @xgenelite , @last1_best1_training , our sponsors, every content creator, every supporter who shared a post, pulled up, or watched online. This has never been about me. It’s about giving Buffalo hoopers a platform, creating opportunities, and proving what this city has to offer. From an idea… to one of the biggest basketball creators coming to our city and trusting us to help make it happen. We’re just getting started. 🐺 We in the Jungle. by @cheatcodegigi

Third spot was the tiebreaker. Juice missed an easy one, and I hit three straight. Momentum is everything in basketball. Good work today. 💯🏀 taken in Buffalo, New York by @cheatcodegigi

🚨 FLASHBACK: JALEN ALREADY BEAT TORREE! 👀🔥 Everybody talking about how DIFFERENT #4 ranked Torree looks right now! He’s been on an absolute HEATER! 🔥 But people forget… #7 ranked Jalen already beat him about a year ago! 👀 ⚠️ HERE’S THE DIFFERENCE… That victory came under the OLD three-game series rules. This time, they’re playing to 24! A completely different format that could change EVERYTHING! Torree looks like a completely different player today, but Jalen says HE’S STILL THE SAME PLAYER! 😤 The Jungle gave Jalen just a 25% chance to win! 🐺 BUT LOOK AT HOW FAR WE’VE COME… This was BEFORE hundreds of people started packing the building. Before the big crowds. Before all the attention. But one thing that NEVER changed was the ENERGY! Whether it was ONE person watching or 500 people in the building, the competition was ALWAYS REAL! The Jungle didn’t just start. We’ve BEEN building this! 💯🐺 🔥 FRIGHT NIGHT IN THE JUNGLE 📅 Friday, October 30th ⏰ 5:30 PM 🎟️ $15 Entry WAS THAT FIRST WIN A FLUKE, OR DOES JALEN HAVE TORREE’S NUMBER? 👀 WE IN THE JUNGLE! 🐺🔥 taken in Buffalo, New York by @cheatcodegigi

We’re tied 1-1! 👀 🏀 ROUND 3: THE TIEBREAKER COMING SOON! 🔥 taken in Buffalo, New York by @cheatcodegigi

Always good bump when we match up. He’s just as competitive as me, and I definitely respect his game. The crazy thing is it’s not even about battling each other as much as it is battling ourselves mentally. That’s what people don’t understand about basketball. Sometimes your biggest opponent is your own mind. 🧠 I’m definitely not where I want to be with my game right now, but one thing that hasn’t changed is my love for basketball. At 41, I still love getting out there, competing, and just HOOPING! Might drop some more clips later. by @cheatcodegigi

That last conversation you have with yourself before you go on an unstoppable run. 🚀 After everything I went through, the losses, the setbacks, the difficult moments, I had a conversation with myself. I’M GOING FOR EVERYTHING. I made a promise to myself that I was going to take everything I’m building to the stratosphere and never look back. People always ask me how to start a brand. My advice? Believe in yourself. Have passion for what you’re building. Don’t let fear stop you. I’m still learning, still growing, but I’m giving this everything I’ve got.
