Happy birthday to me 🎂Today I turn 38. Learning that life doesn't ask us to become more. It asks us to become more true. To think a little less. To feel a little deeper. To stop fighting ourselves. To stop resisting what is. To live in a way that leaves nothing inside us divided.Lately, life has been teaching me something beautifully simple: the quality of our presence changes everything. The way we look at someone. The way we speak. The way we touch. The way we listen. The way we love.The more I learn to live from that place, the more I feel that love isn't something we create, but something we remember together.Maybe that's how we quietly change the world. Not by convincing anyone. Not by trying to become extraordinary. Simply by becoming deeply coherent with who we are.Thank you to everyone who has walked beside me, and to those who still do. There are artists who compose through technique.And others who compose through rupture.What moved me the most about Martín Roma’s music was not complexity, but honesty. A kind of emotional minimalism where a single note can hold an entire world.At a time where everything seems to demand more noise, more layers and more speed, his music does exactly the opposite: it empties, reduces, strips away, until only something essential remains.Watching this show did not feel like attending a concert,but rather like witnessing someone shedding an old skin in real time.This song 'Perfidi Lucis' - the renegades of light - feels like the acceptance of shadow as part of transformation.Because sometimes illumination does not arrive through brightness. Sometimes it appears when we finally begin looking at what we have spent years avoiding within ourselves.Maybe that is why this piece resonated so deeply with me. Lately I feel more connected to processes of unfolding than construction. There are moments in life that can’t really be explained. They can only be felt.After so much pain, fear, hospitals, uncertainty and darkness, something in me has started to return. And I’m not only talking about the body. I’m talking about life.It’s been almost 11 months paused. 11 months in bed, facing something that could have changed my life forever. And still, here I am.Because when you go through something that breaks you from the inside, you don’t come back the same.And now I understand it. It was never about becoming who I used to be again. It was about becoming someone more real.For a long time, it felt like everything had stopped. And yet, in that silence, something was still taking shape. Something deeper. Cleaner. More true.Somewhere along the way, I also started learning how to listen. To my body. To my nervous system. To life itself. And little by little, everything began to soften.And maybe I still can’t fully explain it, but I’ve come to feel that nothing that happened was random. That somehow, my body was trying to release what I didn’t yet know how to face. And through all of it, I ended up healing parts of me I didn’t even know were still carrying pain.And today, I feel more alive than ever. More present. More open. More peaceful. More grateful. I would have never chosen the pain. But today I can look back and recognize that even within everything that broke, there was also a gift.I’m stepping into a life that feels more true. And for the first time in a long time, I don’t want to understand it.I just want to live it 🤍 by @chechupajares
