The ECB Premier League Player of Week 23 is . . .

The final Gentlemen & Players award for the last weekend of the season when there was only 3 leagues in play still, goes to Nils Priestley of Checkley in the North Staffs & South Cheshire PL for his 204 off 101 balls - the only century of a crazy last days action across the country!

Wow. What a weekend! 🏏🍻
Checkley Cricket Club pulled off an amazing long weekend of activities that I had the privilege of capturing.

Of course the day started with a win in the cricket, but it ended with community 💚

Here’s a few of my favourites from the beer festival after the match where friends, family and the other team shared laughs over beer, cider and gin 🍻🥂

Honestly, the main thing I aimed to capture was the atmosphere. It felt like family. Every single person I spoke to throughout the day spoke to me as if they’d known me years… the support, the friendly advice from @fleur4585 , and the laughs with the players from both teams 🥺

Congratulations to @elliemay132_ and @checkleycc for putting on such a brilliant, welcoming and fun event which showed the club off in the best way 👏🏻

More photos to come from Sunday’s tournament 📸 but I just couldn’t wait to share these and have the chance to reflect on lovely weekend activities. Events like these make me thankful I started photography again!

How many Checkley CC cups can you count? Leave your answer in the comments 🤭
