Back in January we had a meeting over coffee and pitched the idea of hosting a sporty event with the BWV BIA during the soccer craze in Toronto. Not limiting the branding and event exclusively to soccer, allows us to host this event annually again. After the last 4 months of planning, the turnout was amazing, the community loved it and all of our partners and stakeholders are excited for the next year. Thank you to the BIA for seeing the vision and working together on this. taken in Bloor West Village by @checkoutrichard

Yesterday we were privileged to take part of a tour at the Ontario Food Terminal. Seeing the operations behind the scenes that happen 24/7. Our tour began at 6:45am, and it was BUSY. So many moving parts , farmers, resellers, local restaurant owners, importers, produce from around the world, delivery agents and brokers. Thank you to Marina and the team at @marketcityto for the invite and arranging this! by @checkoutrichard

Honoured to have been selected by @marketcityto as a facilitator for the pilot of the Market Managers and Operators Training Program. It was great to connect with upcoming and existing market managers and coordinators across several established communities across the city.

.
That’s a wrap on our first cohort of the Market Managers and Operators Training Program! The final module took place in early April and had participants sharing their seasonal or five-year plan with the group, while receiving real-time feedback from their peers and the facilitators. The last session also served as a networking opportunity where we discussed how to support each other beyond the training program. taken in Toronto, Ontario by @checkoutrichard
