A little girl losing her father at a young age and in the golden olden day a house needed a man. She was at the age for marriage in those days but the responsibilities which came along she was no longer was a teenager but a woman, a warrior, a hero.

Today is her birthday Allah blessed me with her as my mother and I am forever grateful.
Every day I wish for you to be near me Ma and I remember I can speak to you in my Duaas.

It has been said people can die of a broken heart 💔 I dont have the proof and certainly I pray this is Just a saying.
The last 2 months have been excruciating and while I've been told concentrate on myself, this emptiness have me walking through life as if I'm in a dream.
No one can understand someone's hurt but can only empathize.
Regulating the pleasure of seeing and talking to the Eyes of my Eyes is meant to destroy me more than educating me on Peace of Mind.
I believe in the Almighty Allah SWT and Inshall'Allah this too shall pass. Time is fleeting and while im aware of this my heart continues to be broken.
My love is not what someone can give me or is valued by status...I am true to myself and the fear of Allah makes me more conscious of my actions. by @ched_khan

Today makes it 21 years you have left this Duniya. You were not just a sister but other roles I am forever grateful I was your sister. I pray you are granted Jannat al Firdous Aameen. I'd pick up the phone, go for more drives, sit my the lake with your banana split and just enjoy eachother. I'd play your songs from afar if I was late to get you as I turn the corner n see you standing at the curb. Oh my Shirlls you were an angel sent to do a job which you did with lots of love and compassion. I love you and I so do miss you. by @ched_khan

Today in the western world is Father's day. I believe we need to always remind ourselves these special people in our lives every single day. Unfortunately life comes in the way and if today they get a beautiful reminder then let us celebrate them. This is special shout to my son-in-law Chris Campbell.
The father of my Nurs (grand daughters), I say AllhumdiAllah they are blessed to have him as Dad.
Chris daily life is based only for his family. His dedication and love for his family is by far admirable. Having 3 girls he's done some girlie things, which can only be explained by the love he have for them. Wearing nail polish proudly, posing for a pic with no issues with his clip on earring, going to concerts I'm sure he's like wth but he went with a smile to see the Jonas brothers.
He's been called a racist by the general public while doing his job.... if people only knew. But no one needs to know, because he has endured to provide for his family and be present for his children.
Chris so much more to say but honestly know Nani is happy you are in our lives. Love you John by @ched_khan

Today marks 11 years my mommy departed this Duniya. Her presence, her voice, her various looks are missed so deeply no one except the Almighty knows how much I hurt. Yes, I pray for her and with all sincerity I pray she gets the highest of the highest in Jannat al Firdous because she was a woman of strength and virtues.
My mother was not perfect she let her feelings stray from forming better opinions and actions. Unfortunately those with no faults cast the first stone.

Memories of listening to Hindi music or Islamic recitation filled our household. But once I put any music on she will get a headache lol later she would be dancing in her groups to the very said songs. She never missed her Carnival and never lost track of her faith. The beauty of growing up in a multicultural country as Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹
Oh Ma, calling you and pretending I was someone else to ask you on a date was my favorite joke to play on you.
The day you called and asked if I had some living with us because my voice mail to the house was " you have reached Helen, Sheedar, Alisha, Aleem and Casper."... funny Casper is a ghost Ma on a TV show.
I was always far in her opinion and I said even if I was on a bed next to her will still be far.
My life with my mommy was beautiful I had growth when I reached the age of 28 and its when my appreciation for her grew and kept growing. Don't think we did not have our spats we did and if I was in defiance of something she was saying or doing no matter how strongly we both disagreed I never once look to disrespect her but she will know how I felt.
Our attachment was unique she was my confidant my sounding board and I am grateful Allah choose me to be her child. There is no going back only to reminise of our memories and be reminded I was fortunate to have a woman like her. Allah bless and grant her Jannat al Firdous Aameen.
