Well… the three IR heater had to end eventually.

And what broke the streak?

One of those Rare Energy cards. 🤣

A few episodes ago I was ready to count them as hits…

Then the community talked some sense into me.

So no… the streak officially ends at three straight IRs. 😭

Still, I can’t complain after that run. Three Illustration Rares in a row is something I’ll probably never see again.

Yesterday I had a conversation with another collector, and after going back and forth…

We’ve officially agreed:

Those new Rare Energy cards are NOT hits. 🤣

I wanted them to count…

I really did.

But deep down, we all know the truth. 😂

Maybe it’s not the biggest chase card in the set, but I love that Pokémon is trying something different with these. I’ll gladly take it as a hit. 😤
