the packages are rolling in, and qc/sorting is underway! the more come in the more i can fine tune my process. everything received so far is so nice and so generous, as will be the case for everything else, and i got so excited thinking about how a small collection of these could make someone feel in december. what a fun, cool community of makers we have. 🥹

the project is ongoing and i will order the packaging for the final calendars very soon! if you’re interested in supporting the project, you can donate directly on ko-fi. truly every little bit helps, and all funds go directly towards materials to produce the calendars, and shipping. more to come! to my knowledge there are at least a handful of concepts in korean culture that we don’t have accurate language to translate into english. 한 (“han”) is one. 정 (“jeong”) - discussed here - is another. i talk about the idea from the sources that have informed me, but as with anything in korean culture, seeking out korean voices for more direct, familiar explanations will always be the way to go, so please do so if you’d like to learn more! i remembered really connecting with the guys’ explanation/definition of 정 during that vogue video this past spring, so seeing it on the book in the gift shop has me really curious and interested in the connection. the exhibition carrying the title “between you and me” and all of the various references to bridges and connections in the descriptions and in namjoon’s own words about it, i sense it will be something really special to experience. if you’re going, have the best time! 🥹🩵 #rmxsfmoma #정 by @cheeksgetsandy7

freebie advent calendar project’s first ups haul! the very first donation has officially been received, alongside a non-donation order from amazon for some crinkle filler, my first production supply in hand. ☺️ i’m excited to take you all along for many more hauls over the next few weeks as the donations continue to arrive. once i find the lowest prices possible for the production supplies i’ll be ordering those, too. thank you so much to everyone for the support you’ve already given through freebie or monetary donations. you’re making all of this possible for a purpler holiday season. the ko-fi link will stay open until the calendars ship. stay tuned!

if you’re anything like my friends and me you might’ve checked if jimin’s first clock app post was AI (lol) and it made me realize we are constantly fighting when we can and can’t believe our own eyes 😭 i’m curious how others feel about it - not a big deal? just the reality of the world we live in today? i also say here that i use ai enhancement (via the retouching button and filters) on here all the time, but i guess the difference is *i* am making that choice for myself, whereas the members are not afforded that same choice the majority of the time. anyway look alive out there (and hooray, welcome to the other app, very much real and not ai-generated park jimin 🥹🥹) by @cheeksgetsandy7

three weeks since i saw bts and missing them and the arirang world tour as usual… so here’s 2.0 from LA day 1. in hindsight jungkook clearly knew better than to pop his shirt off on the night i had floor seats 🤣🤣 jimin on the other hand 😒🥴 they are all so locked in. i have to take a step back and pinch myself sometimes. i can’t believe i got to see them perform. i can’t believe i got to watch seven people do what they were born to do. 🥹💜 #bts #arirangworldtour taken in SoFi Stadium by @cheeksgetsandy7
