Sorry for the radio silence! Life has been busy, and my elbows have had other plans too. Crocheting a ginormous ear came with a free side of cubital tunnel, so everything is moving at roughly the speed of a very cautious snail.

The good news: the Caution tote pattern is in its final stages. I’m finishing it in small bursts between stretches, wearing a brace to sleep, and a lot of staring at my own arms, and it’s coming soon as a kit with @cheekyarn. ⚠️

Handle with care (mine especially).

our first textile kit 🧶

the ennis beanie, designed in collaboration with meadow jane (@snazzy.mj), brings a little piece of northern ireland’s history to your needles.

two designs, two skill levels, one kit.
start with beginner-friendly stripes, then try the intermediate horse motif inspired by the enniskillen knight.

each kit includes our loop 8 recycled yarn and both patterns, with enough yarn to make approximately two beanies.

yarn requirements may vary depending on size, colour placement and knitting tension.

Hackney Bloom bloomed because of you 💛

From textile artworks and floral installations to pieces created in our community workshops, our shared garden grew through the creativity and care of everyone involved. 🌿

Hackney Bloom opening night was so much fun - it was amazing to meet the other artists and see their beautiful works! Unfortunately I didn’t get a good photo of my piece so please excuse the terrible lighting on the first slide.

Thank you so much @cheekystudio_london @cheekyarn for this amazing opportunity. I’m so grateful I was picked to create a beautiful woven piece based on blooming and nature. 🌸🌿

I wanted to show the beauty of Greece when I was supporting my brother @corneille_leprincesailing at his first international sailing competition with @ilca_sailing using patterns, colour and texture

This is the first woven piece I’ve made in a while since graduating, so thank you for putting me back on my feet and getting things started again. I’m so touched 🥹🫶🏾 by @cheekyarn

‘Meadow Paths’ hanging in the Hackney Bloom. It was Great to be a part of this wonderful group textile show with so many other talented artists. It was a quick turn around and fun to figure out how to incorporate yarn into my work, I’m sure I’ll be using it future works now.
