November 2018
Two years ago I spent November travelling across Northern India 🇮🇳 It was here that my love for photography blossomed in this beautiful country 📸 India was chaotic, colourful and charming! My heart had been stolen and I have longed to go back ever since!
As we all know, 2020 has not panned out as expected for many of us on the travel front. So in the meantime I want to share with you the journey I went on through the country that stole my heart 💖
Travelling is stepping out of your comfort zone and experiencing the unknown, and India is exactly that! #india #untilwemeetagain

Blown away every time I look at these pictures! This place feels so otherworldly 🪐 and honestly like nowhere I've ever visited before!

Wat Bo monestry - so peaceful, the perfect place to watch monks carry out their duties 🧡

Countryside cycling tour with #siemreaper 🚲 a perfect way to see the authentic side of Cambodia off the tourist path, loved the local food market!

SAW 😍 the happiest doggo in all of Cambodia, resident pup at the rice wine farm stop on the cycling tour

The reason I came to Cambodia... the magnificent ANGKOR WAT! 😍

Snaps from Angkor Wat at sunrise, Ta Prohm (aka Tomb Raider temple), Bayon temples, and back to Pre Rup for sunset!

Seeing the Angkor Wat complex in person was unforgettable. Walking through the complex felt like (and most likely will be!) a once in a lifetime experience.
Sunrise is world famous but do not miss returning for sunset, which is just as beautiful! 🧡💜🩷

1 or 3 day passes available, $2 from every temple pass purchased for Angkor goes to the Kantha Bopha Children's Hospital, tourism playing a part to benefiting the local community 👏

Guided tour with @laoclassics knowledgeable and friendly, highly recommend!

That morning light 🌄

MOUNT BATUR, BALI SUNRISE TREK 🇮🇩
Another epic bucket list experience! ✨️

The details:
• Mount Batur is still an active volcano in the Bangli area
• be prepared to wake around 3am to travel to the volcano depending on how close you are staying
• hiking to the top of the volcano takes 1 to 1 1/2 hours
depending on your fitness level
• the trail is covered with slippery stones, so watch your
step and bring a flash light/head torch
• bring warm clothes (layers) as it can be cold and windy when you first reach the top before the sun rises
• bring enough water to avoid dehydration
• reaching the summit, you get the most beautiful sunrise with an impressive view of Mount Agung on a clear morning
• of course you're not up there alone, but still totally worth it imo (it's bucket list for a reason) 😍

Swipe for my sunrise hike camera roll 🎞
