Magical suncatcher “paper” chains 🌈

Loving all the paper chains, and wanted to add a little more magic for the kids (and adults 😆). See how they glow when the sun hits! Comment SUNSHINE for the link to the sheets I used!

Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore…check! Now Pooh! A no-sew version again, just both glue, felt and t-shirts (plus paint for her Halloween treat pail)

DIY Eeyore costume
Tigger had his day, now it’s Eeyore’s turn! No sew per request, just used hot glue, felt, and cheap t-shirts

DIY Perry the Platypus costume
Turns out, it’s not easy to capture the essence of a cartoon platypus, and this one didn’t come together until the end. But My son loves it so I count it a semi-aquatic, egg-laying-mammal, secret agent success!

Supplies:
• Teal sweatsuit or onesie
• Orange felt (for tail, bill, and feet)
• Fedora or hat (I painted a cheap black one since I couldn’t find a brown one)
• Sewing machine, thread, pins, elastic, scissors

DIY Tigger costume 🐅
While the Piglet costume had its day in the sun, a bunch of request for Tigger came in. No sewing this time…just felt, hot glue, cutting and layering. The body and head are made from felt sheets (if your kid’s older, fleece by the yard works better), and the tail’s built with felt, elastic, and pipe cleaners. Comment TTFN if you want my blog post with screenshots!

Supplies:
• Felt sheets (or fleece if making larger sizes)
• Peel-and-stick felt for stripes
• Hot glue gun + glue sticks
• Scissors + elastic band
• Pipe cleaners (for tail support)
