Yesterday we took V and Stevania to ‘Meet Me at the Fiddle’ at the Sydney Port! ⚓️💜

We walked the beautiful boardwalk, watched a Carnival cruise ship leave the port, bounced our hearts out on the jumping castles, had some snackies at @kernelmacs , met a few reptiles 🐍🦎 friends … now an iguana is wanted as a pet…we had a whole lotta fun!

And a special thank you to the super sweet girl working at @capebretonfudgeco she let V take a quick peek inside even though she was ready to leave 🥹🍫 She thought that was pretty cool… and we will definitely be back!!

Such a fun little evening with our girls.. we may no longer have a variety of fall and harvest fairs but we’ve got ocean 🤷🏼‍♀️ 🥰 #limitlessambassador #eastcoastlivin #meetmeatthefiddle #autumnontheisland #comfortkids by @cheerwithv

🍀 from one island to another …

Us Mackies are “Capers” meaning we have called Cape Breton home for over 200 years. Today I got to explore an old schoolhouse in the same community my family has called home for generations.

I don’t know if one of my ancestors ever sat in this classroom… but I like to imagine they did, they probably did 💚📚

Maybe I was never meant to be landlocked after all. 🌊💜

Everyday is a new adventure and piece of my history 😍🫶🏼 taken in Dominion Heritage School House by @cheerwithv

Little feet Big dreams. 🌊✨

She doesn’t know where life will take her yet…
She just knows she’s meant to explore it

Here’s to raising kids who believe the world is bigger than their fears.

✨ Road trip adventures with V! ✨

Getting to our new home was an adventure all on its own! 💜🚗

🍎 I had a famous apple fritter at the Big Apple in Ontario.
🍦 Ate LOTS of ice cream along the way. (Mom says that’s one of my specialties. 😂)
⭐ Danced under the stars in Montreal.
🏰 Walked through beautiful Old Québec.
🥔 Recreated a photo at the Giant Potato that my mommy took when she was little!
🪓 Visited the Giant Axe in Nackawic, NB.
🦞 Climbed a giant lobster in Shediac, NB.
🫐 Met Oxley the Giant Blueberry in Nova Scotia.
🌉 Crossed onto Cape Breton Island, stopped for our first family “welcome home” photo at the bridge, and visited my very first lighthouse.
🌊 Then I touched the Atlantic Ocean for the very first time at Dominion Beach! 🌊💙

Every stop became a memory, and every memory became part of our journey home. 💚💛

I can’t wait to explore all of Cape Breton, visit Cavendish in PEI, and take a ferry to Newfoundland! Where should we adventure to next? ✨
