Welcome to Cheese's Rice, a podcast where I talk about anything and everything under the sun. On this episode, I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE, we have the icon, the legend, the mother of the House of LaBeija (India Chapter), Jiya LaBeija (she/her in drag). Jiya was one of the first drag queens I saw live and oh my God!!! she's amazing. As the years went by, we have consistently worked with each other and grew a sisterly bond through reading, and sharing advice, and just being amazing.

Jiya, is a drag queen, a dancer, the voguing expert, a light, a host, a joy, a homosexual, and just an amazing person all round. Join us as we talk about her journey up until this point, New York City rats, why we fight for trans rights, the ballroom scene, reading, and so much more.

Please do support her, she is amazing!!

Message from Ryle: Thank you so much for a wonderful season filled with amazing guests, chaotic conversations, microphone glitches, and so much more. Thank you all for listening, and can't wait to continue this journey with y'all on the next season.

Welcome to Cheese's Rice, a podcast where I talk about anything and everything under the sun. On this episode, one of the most important artists of the Goa Queer Art scene, an elder in our queer community, and all around amazing human being, Debi K (they/them). Debi and I met briefly at Goa Open Arts and then connected through an event we both did at Chowgules. We connected through our art and how we express ourselves in our art.

Debi K, brings conversations of art, identity, gender, and expression through everything they do. Join us as we talk about theatre, performance, art, gender, being non binary, being a queer elder, and so much more!!!

Please do support them, they are amazing!! by @cheesesricepod
