Business owners and creators, you don’t need a picture-perfect home of your own to create fresh content. I was able to use a local model home for my cookbook photoshoot for free through a realtor I know personally. Here’s how you can look for a space: 1. Decide what kind of setting fits your brand and content. 2. Reach out to local realtors and ask if they have a model home or staged property available for a photoshoot. 3. Explain what you’re creating, when you’d like to shoot, and how you plan to use the content. 4. Ask about permission, availability, and any rules or fees. 5. Search space-rental websites for homes, studios, or other locations on WWW.PEERSPACE.COM if you don’t find a local realtor option. 6. Make a shot list so you can capture as much content as possible while you’re there and LEAVE THE SPACE HOW YOU FOUND IT. A free space isn’t guaranteed but just by knowing and connecting with the right people it can pay off big time! Don’t be afraid to ask and seek help! Worst case scenario is your told the word no. This book is becoming a reality because I believed it could happen, even when I didn’t know exactly how I would get there. I had to keep showing up, stay consistent, and trust the vision God placed in me. Now I get to hold something I once only imagined. That’s a reminder to keep going with the vision God gave you. It may take time, and the process may look different than you expected, but don’t count yourself out before you see what’s possible. PREORDER IS NOW AVAILABLE for The Prestigious Plate.
