September 12,2002 I was given a special gift from God in the person of my middle child Kissa Nasya. She is my miracle of God, which is the English translation of her Hebrew middle. Born 3 and a half months early. Entering the world seemingly with all odds stacked against her, but God. She beat all the odds I was told she could be blind, severely mentally disabled, developmental delays and need constant care, But God. Every issue she had was laid at the Master’s feet, and God tended to her every need. I was able to see the hand of God work before my eyes.

Today she is a beautiful, loving, kind, generous, intelligent, goofy young woman ( the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree😆). I adore her and want to be like her in so many ways when I grow up. The level of unbothered was that she has is amazing to me. She is resilient. She is and will always be my baby. She knows adversity but God has a plan. 🥹🥹🥹. She is 21!!!! She is loved, cared for and seen by her family and above all God.

Kissa, you are my sunshine my only sunshine ☀️
You make me happy when skies are gray
You’ll never know dear, how much I love you
Please don’t take my sunshine away. #21birthday #yousgrownnow #youwillalwaysbemybaby ##premie #againstallodds #boogs #shug by @chef_justash1

Transformation takes place from the inside out. I’ve been working on me for quite a while now first I had to work on my mindset at one time. I was an anxious mess, potato chips, and junk food comforted me. The pandemic changed me. I was afraid to live because I was afraid of dying. My faith in God is what kept me as I grew closer to him in my daily rhythm of sitting with him praying ,communing, meditating, reading the word. The gospel transformed me, serving God‘s people humbled me and his Love grounded me I began work on myself almost 2 years ago and what you see here is just a glimpse. My mind is clear. I have purpose. I walk in Authority and I have hope so. I just rejoice and worship the Lord in spirit and in truth and I think my community for walking alongside me for holding me up for encouraging me after loving me. It does take a village and it’s not just to raise a child. It is to live this life that we journey in. Stay tuned because God is doing a new thing in me,around me and through me. by @chef_justash1

This is a hard powerful thing. I love when Pastor Ricky says “don’t stop loving them. Don’t stop caring for them or with holding affection. “. I will say these have been my “ so I throw up my hands and praise you again and again” times. All that I have is a hallelujah hallelujah. I sought the Lord just this morning. I trust he is working on them and I know he is working on me. I will praise in the waiting. I will wait expectantly. by @chef_justash1

I’m safe, so safe in the hand of God🙌🙌🙌 by @chef_justash1

Don’t give up don’t ever give up. The Lord is with you he goes before you is the defender behind. You be encouraged today. Know that you are never alone for your God is with you for you. God is with you therefore you cannot and will not fail. I pray that you are encouraged today and never alone. I will never leave you. He will never ever ever forsake. You just call me. The Holy Spirit is your intercessor and he will go before the the Lord God and he will fight for you. He is fighting. This is not a flesh and blood. We wrestle against powers and principalities go before the end he cares for you and so do I by @chef_justash1
