"AFROCENTRIC PAELLA "
PAELLA is one of the most famous Spanish meals. As a lover of SPAIN and PAELLA I decided to give it a twist 😄(my Spanish people please forgive me).
I used ofada rice in place of the traditional Spanish round rice (you can use whatever rice you want for yours). You can never go wrong with PAELLA 🥘

INGREDIENTS
-sea salt
-Olive oil
-salmon

-1 large bell pepper
-tomato puree

Many many years ago, Jesus gave himself up so we could live. This is the most important event in the Christian race.

Having a thorough understanding of this is the most delicious "AhAh" moment anyone would ever have

In this video the FOOD and abundance on the table is figurative. Preping the table and declaring abundance while expecting your special guest is always a flex. In this case Jesus does even need anything from us, he doesn't need your food or money...he just wants to spend time with US, commune with US while reassuring us he has paid the price in full for our sins, debt(please pay who you owe money oh,Jesus hand no dey that one),sickness,shame,pain,reproach... Jesus paid in full...no outstanding balance...No other greater Gift than THIS. Whatever we are today and will be tomorrow it is because of JESUS❤️... @dunsinoyekan KABO was sang because of this video😅🥰

FOOD OF THE gods
Weeks ago @teecooks posted her ekuru recipe and it took me wayyyy back to when my grandma (of blessed memory) would make it for my sister and I.

Ekuru is an indigenous yoruba meal but it is BLAND (just white beans OTAN!) hence why it is all about the SAUCE!!! The most flavourful sauce that can be used to eat anything 💃💃💃

This song from @kunleafo movie Anikulapo gave me the inspiration for this video coupled with the fact that i LOVEEE to tell stories with my food videos☺️☺️☺️

I was just about to go about my business when I became overwhelmed with GRATITUDE!😊🥲🥹

Over the years I have had client believe I can execute their jobs (I Nono them before oh🥲🤣) I have had people who had never met me refer me for jobs! (@chef_fregz referred to to a client I have done over 10 jobs with!!! At that time he had never met me,we had never spoken!)

To my clients turned friends,photographers turned family that refer me with their full chest because they know I Dey deliver pass who get belle🤣🤣🤣 Ahhhh I AM GRATEFUL!!! (I wish I could mention everybody one after the other)

To my clients that $poil me with Orishirishi products I AM GRATEFUL (I have things I haven’t used money to buy in yearsss)

This girl is GRATEFUL!!! I will continuously sharpen my skills until una refer me for jobs wey Dey America,canada, Italy etc🤣🤣🤣🤣

Behind every successful cooking challenge is a procurement list that has been taken VERY seriously. 😂🤣

As a chef and food stylist, procurement is another part of my work that I absolutely love especially when it involves large scale cooking competitions and productions where every ingredient, quantity and detail has to be right.

This time, we were brought on by Live Well Cookware to handle procurement and the presentation of ingredients for a cooking challenge at the Big Brother House.

From proteins to produce, condiments, pantry staples and everything in between sourced, organised and competition ready. 🥗🍗🍝

On this day we were to shoot at the market!!!
All our preparations were de@d on arrival so I just had to figure out how to uplift my spirit before pivoting🤣🤣🤣🤣

I am either very SERIOUS or extremely goofy on set, it all depends on how much I was paid🤣🤣🤣🤣

I still parad for Aisha and Doris after this video because who ask them to seat when we never blend beans to Fry new set of Akara!!!

One of those productions that deserves its own documentary and probably a nap afterwards. 😂🎬

This was easily ONE OF THE LONGEST PRODUCTION days we’ve had to date, and the brief? Let’s just say “broad” would be putting it mildly. 🤣🤣

From food styling to multiple setups, multiple stories, multiple brands and sooo many details to keep track of ,we had EIGHT different stories from Peak to bring to life, all within one production. So yes, there was A LOT to catch up with. And somehow, in the middle of all the running around, problem solving, resetting, styling, eating, restyling lol, we still managed to have a pretty good time.

What made it even better was working with a client we’ve had the pleasure of building a relationship with over the years. The Peak team remains one of the best teams to work with! Not just because of the brief, but because of the warmth, hospitality and genuine appreciation they show for the people behind the production. Being seen, valued and recognised for the work that goes into making these things happen makes all the long hours worth it. 🤍 (we even had a after party💃🏽)

And this is only ONE of the stories from that production. 👀 There are more from where this came from🤣

For now, here’s a little glimpse into one very long, very busy, very exciting day of making things happen.

Brief: massive.
Production day: longer.
Team: amazing.
Me: somehow still standing. 😂
