National Fellowship for Black and Latino Male Educator As part of our approach, we named that we wanted to provide our fellows with skill development, mentoring/coaching, and a community of powerful Black and Latino men who will support & uplift each other.

Our EOY Las Vegas retreat was designed for our fellows to leave the weekend stronger, more in tune with each other, and ready to continue the work in the face of the adversity of our society.

Vegas will always have a special place in our hearts as our first Rosewood City!

We are the Roses. We are NFBLME.

👑 LEADING WITH PURPOSE. LEADING WITH LOVE. LEADING WITH UNITY. 🏳️‍🌈🖤

I’m incredibly honored to be featured in the 2026 PRIDE Celebration issue of Las Vegas PRIDE Magazine in an article titled “Leading With Purpose: Leo Wright’s Vision for Unity as Mr. Black Las Vegas PRIDE.”

This article is about so much more than a crown or a title. It’s about purpose, representation, service, and creating a community where every person feels seen, valued, respected, and empowered.

As Mr. Black Las Vegas PRIDE, my vision is rooted in one simple belief:

Our community is strongest when we work together.

I want this reign to be about building bridges—not silos. About creating space for Black, Brown, transgender, nonbinary, and historically underrepresented voices to not only be heard, but to lead.

And for every LGBTQ+ young person who may be questioning whether they belong:

You are enough. You are worthy. You belong. ❤️

If even one person sees themselves reflected in my leadership and realizes that they can embrace every part of who they are while pursuing everything they are capable of becoming, then this journey will be worth it.

Thank you to Las Vegas PRIDE Magazine for giving me the opportunity to share my story, my vision, and my heart. And thank you to everyone who has poured into me, challenged me, supported me, and helped me become the leader I am today.

The crown is an honor.
The crown is a responsibility.
The crown is a promise to serve. 👑
