Picked these from the greenhouse an hour ago 🍅 Nothing fancy, just sun, soil, and stubbornness. Tonight they go into a private dinner for a client here in Telluride, blistered and dressed simply so the sweetness does the talking. This is the whole point of growing your own, garden to plate in a few hours. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 taken in Telluride, Collorado by @chefbudthomas

Leeks and coffee, not together I promise. 😄 As a proud Welshman, having both on the counter feels just right. The leek is the national symbol of Wales, and that dragon on my mug? He agrees. 🐉🌿 Now if you’ll excuse me, there’s prep to be done. ☕

What’s your morning fuel before the magic starts?
