What an honor it was to cater this beautiful wedding for clients who truly feel like family. 🤍✨

From the elegant décor to the thoughtful service and every plate prepared with care, this day was so special to be a part of. Our menu featured a fresh Mediterranean Greek Garden Salad, peppered grilled chicken, honey-ginger soy glazed salmon, garden herbed broccolini, herb-roasted asparagus, velvet whipped Yukon Gold potatoes, and gourmet baked six cheese macaroni.

Hearing the amazing feedback from guests meant the world to me. I’m beyond grateful to have been trusted with such an important celebration and proud of my team for helping bring this experience to life with excellence and love.
Moments like these are why I do what I do. Thank you for allowing Taste of Catore to serve you on such a memorable day. 🤍

POV: You’re a Personal Traveling Chef and your long-time client’s birthday calls for a trip from ATLANTA ALL THE WAY TO THE HAMPTONS! 🧑🏽‍🍳✈️🚗

Because when you’re the chef, the show must go on… even when your body is saying, “GIRL, PLEASE SIT DOWN!” 😂😭

The drive? LONG.
The preparation? NONSTOP.
The expectations? LUXURY.
The energy? RUNNING ON PRAYERS, PASSION, AND PURE PROFESSIONALISM. 😂🥴

And somewhere between being exhausted, overwhelmed, overstimulated, and overstretched, I created my own word for it: EXHAUSTEDWHLEMULATED! 🤣🤣🤣

But listen… when you’ve built relationships with clients who trust you to show up and deliver, you understand that this business is about more than cooking. It’s about commitment, consistency, relationships, and creating an experience worth traveling for. And sometimes, literally traveling for! 😂❤️

Atlanta to The Hamptons? DONE. ✔️
Another birthday to make memorable? ON THE BOOKS. ✔️
Chef Catore? TIRED, BUT THE SHOW MUST GO ON! 👩🏽‍🍳✨

It’s okay to keep starting over—as long as you don’t give up on yourself.

I’ve started over more times than I can count.

With my health.
With my routines.
With my mindset.
With taking care of ME.

And for a long time, I convinced myself that because my career required so much from me, there simply wasn’t enough room left to prioritize working out and taking care of myself.

But I’m realizing something…

Balance doesn’t mean choosing between your purpose and yourself.

It means making room for both.

I finally found a gym and a trainer who meets me where I am, pushes me beyond where I think I can go, and—most importantly—doesn’t make me feel like I have to become someone else to belong in that space. @justworkfit

And that has made a difference.

Because some mornings, I still don’t want to get up. 😂
Some days, I would much rather pour everything into everyone else and tell myself I’ll get to me later.

But I’m learning that I deserve the same commitment I give to my clients, my career, my business, my family, and everyone who counts on me.

So this time, I’m not trying to be perfect.

I’m choosing to show up.

Even if I have to start over.
Even if I have to modify.
Even if I have a bad day.
Even if progress looks different than I imagined.

Because starting over doesn’t mean you failed.

Sometimes, starting over is simply you saying:

“I still believe I’m worth showing up for.”

And this time, I’m choosing to show up for me first. ❤️

Let’s take it back to circa 2017, 2018, maybe 2019… 😂 I honestly can’t remember the exact year, but I remember exactly what it meant to me.

@robertglasper was my first client in entertainment. 🤎

These candid shots were taken by @travalor . Mike was the one who gave me a last-minute call and said he was opening for Robert and wanted to know if I could cook for him.

And that one call opened a door I didn’t even realize was waiting for me.

That night was also one for the books. @omarihardwickofficial performed and blessed the stage with his poetry, giving us an incredible energy and feeling that I still remember.

Omari, I have some photos of you from that night too! If you want them, let me know. 😂📸

From there came @keyonharrold and his many orders of Rasta Pasta & Chicken, @bigyuki , and a slew of other incredibly talented musicians and creatives that I’ve had the honor of feeding and working alongside throughout the years.

Looking back, I can honestly say this was my first real step into the entertainment industry, and I will forever be grateful that Robert was my first client.

Not only is he an extraordinary musician, but he is an amazing human being — an incredible spirit, a beautiful soul, extremely talented, extremely funny, and just REAL. The kind of person you’re grateful to have crossed paths with.

And then there are the friends who believed in me along the way… even the ones who used to tell me, “Get off that phone!” 😂

I used to argue back, “The phone is where I make my money! Social media is where my platform is!”

So… hopefully they believe me now. 😂📱

As I’m cleaning out my storage, I keep coming across little pieces of my history — moments I didn’t necessarily realize were milestones while I was living them.

So I figured I’d take y’all down memory lane with me.

Because sometimes you have to look back to really appreciate how far you’ve come.

Circa 2017–2019. First entertainment client. First major door. And definitely not the last. ✨
