POTLUCK.014 | It was so hard to choose out of all the amazing photos that @iam.juansoto took from that night to capture the love. Truly an unforgettable experience and for those of you that came out, we know you had a great time.

The night was filled with so much laughter that roared through the streets of the Village, smiles that made cheeks sore, and eyes watering from sentimental moments we all shared together.

It was only truly special because you guys made it that way. I take the time you all invest into this experience very seriously and it warms me that I’m surrounded by other people that do too. That understand hospitality. That understand the magnitude they hold from ensuring each person is heard, seen and embraced. That understand the power of acknowledging someone because it might be another average day to you but it could be someones worst.

Respect, compassion, and warmth radiates from this special group, and im beyond blessed to have been a part of your guys night.

I just had to share this sweet moment 🥹. I love Love.

I also love to dance. This was post Potluck.014 as we were cleaning up and sending the guests on their way. We just celebrated a birthday and partied it up with everyone.

“Meet Cole Pate, an Asheville native whose story is rooted in connection, culture, and the kind of food that stays with you long after the last bite.

His passion started early, sparked by his grandmother, cooking Sunday breakfast beside her. Even being gifted his first wok at just eight years old. From there, his journey took shape in the kitchens of the Biltmore Estate, where Chef Noriko instilled in him a deep respect for technique, culture, and precision. Along the way, food became more than a craft , it became a language of love, memory, and human connection.

It’s also what brought him to his wife, whom he met over shared plates at a tapas restaurant. Where dishes were filled with nostalgia, intention, and heart. And that’s exactly how Cole cooks: 100% heart, 100% hospitality.

He worked his way through culinary school while at The Biltmore Estate, sharpened his skills during an internship at the prestigious Greenbrier Hotel, and went on to lead some incredible restaurant concepts in Atlanta before making his way to Greenville where he met the Potluck crew. This has inspired him to continue collaboration and creativity.”

We knew leaving their wedding day that their video needed unconventional and cool energy: feelings of intimacy and intentionality yet a lightness of fun & passion. Their wedding video is dynamic and fun, and that's because M&C embody that in real life.
