A major moment for the MB Post family. 🌟🥂

We are deeply honored to be included in the Michelin Guide Restaurant Selection.

Behind every order of bacon cheddar biscuits, every seasonal plate, and every memorable evening is a team of dedicated individuals working tirelessly behind the scenes. This milestone is for them.

To our incredible kitchen staff and our front-of-house team! Thank you for your dedication to excellence and for making MB Post feel like home to so many. And to our loyal guests, thank you for allowing us to do what we love every day.❤️

Drop by this weekend to celebrate with us🥂 by @chefdlefevre

Incredibly proud, deeply honored, and completely thrilled. 🌟🍽️

We are beyond excited to share that Fishing with Dynamite has officially been featured in the Michelin Guide Restaurant Selection!

This recognition belongs entirely to our phenomenal team, from the kitchen crew pushing culinary boundaries every single day, to our front-of-house family delivering world-class hospitality, to our amazing South Bay community who has supported us from day one.

A massive congratulations to Chef Erik and the entire FWD crew for this well-deserved honor. We are so proud of what we built together, and we can’t wait to celebrate at the table with you all this weekend! 🥂🦪

🍕That one time we were slinging pizzas instead of pita from our ovens! Thank you to everyone who packed the house for our fun pizza pop up yesterday with our good friends over at @fatlippizza!

🙏🏼 Special thanks to chef Chris Laramie and the entire Fat Lip team for making the trip from Corona to Hermosa Beach to fire pizzas in our ovens for the afternoon: hot honey pies, white pies, vodka sauce pizzas, Mediterranean snacks — all of which made for the most fun pizza party by the beach! by @chefdlefevre

For the ricotta gnudi at Manhattan Beach Post (@eat_mbpost), Chefs David LeFevre (@chefdlefevre) and Joshua Pressman (@vicariouslyjosh) looked to classic cheese boards as a point of reference. Cheese platters offer a “choose-your-own-adventure of varied flavors and textures,” an approach the duo wanted to translate into a pasta dish highlighting California almonds—a versatile cornerstone of the state’s bounty.

The almonds are toasted in brown butter, developing mildly sweet, slightly earthy notes with aromas of chocolate and marzipan. Their crunch contrasts the creaminess of ricotta-semolina gnudi, while the salty, nutty character of the nuts works alongside taleggio fonduta and spiced date purée. The dish moves between sweet, salty, creamy, and crunchy elements, echoing the combinations found across a cheese board.

Visit Manhattan Beach Post during our Discover California Almonds Week, running now through February 23! Order the dish, post a photo on Instagram, tag @starchefs and @californiaalmonds, and you’ll be entered to win $100 toward your next meal at Manhattan Beach Post.

One of the South Bay’s go-to raw bars 🦪✨
Fishing With Dynamite is where locals gather for a glass of champagne or wine, a stunning seafood platter, and some of the freshest oysters, scallops, shrimp, and caviar around.

Now Chef Eric is taking things even further with creative new menu items that are already becoming favorites from black miso cod to Chilean sea bass and spicy fusilli.

It’s the kind of place you come for a quick bite and end up staying awhile. Perfect for date nights, celebrations, or just treating yourself to the best seafood in Manhattan Beach.
