@bbclondon interview on my work with youth (PLEASE READ)

A very proud moment for me, being asked to come into the BBC studio and speak about how I have used my passion for cooking to now empowering the new generation in & out of the kitchen.

Not many know this about me, Young people saved me and gave me a lifeline when I wanted to quit life. I owe it to them to build and empower them through my journey. I promised myself not do wait till I get to the top, then speak at them about how I did it! I wanted to get every single bit of support from all the organisations/brands/people I work with and in the process build something I can make them learn along the way of all its ups and downs... and what better way to do it than actually bringing them along that real journey.

Being able to change my life around in the last couple of years (still working on it) and be in a position to lead by example, is something a couple years ago would never see happen. I had a last chance to take a big risk in life in a positive way, same way I would easily risk doing bad stuff, but this time I told myself it was the final try to put things right from scratch.

Not everyone is lucky to follow their passion and make it make sense in the society/struggles we live in. Im always 100mph and because im always on business mode sometimes I dont get a chance to even see what I have been able to achieve... this one im proud of and goes to all the young people Ive supported through my movement... but also thanking them as I wouldnt be here in life with a fresh restart without them 🙏🏽❤️

@therealmikeepps wanted me share my story about what I do

I never get star struck, but to think my 'little business idea' I had once upon a time, to now be able to get into spaces where I could show people like him what im known for, and he replied back at me... exactly what his known for 🤣

I remember in 2000, seeing him in Next Friday movie and all the black comdey movies along the years... never thought Id get him to eat my food and see the team of strong young people Ive brought in to experience spaces like this.

I could of gone on about all the names, brands ive ✅️ but whats most important is my goal, to create spaces for young people to be doing big moves from early! And showing that they are as big and important as everyone else! 💪🏾❤️

Young People x @bigkproductsltd BBQ Workshop

At @projectzerowf this week, we were blessed to have good weather for our outdoor BBQ workshop, where he had a special guest @alexbigk7 come through to support and show the young people how to start/use/cook on a barbecue safely.

We also had another special guest @rayy.moja from @puremoja give some inspiration to the young people on his journey carrying his 100% fruit Juice Drinks Company.

Not forgetting our special @cheffingwithprincess who has been with @cwakitchen for approx 3 years as a young person, now working alongside me supporting young people herself in the kitchen

Being also to get brands ive been using for years to come support in what I do with the youngers as well as getting the youngers to come in and support their ages group is something I would of never seen being able to happen. So thank you to all that help, support and see the work I do away from the food/catering side of the company.

A great day put together for the young people to enjoy, interract and work as a team ❤️🙏🏽

This Easter we ran cooking workshops in Wolverhampton, Coventry, Northampton & Chingford!

We create a fun and interactive space for the children to engage in our cooking sessions where we teach them the importance of food similar to being on the pitch. In these classes we get them to work as a team, no matter the levels of experience or position, team work makes the dream work! We guide them on communication skills, understanding their role and ownership in their field and how each station whether thats prep, cooking, cutting, plating up... we all work together to eat together! And thats how we win!
