I could start with how many obstacles I faced this year, but it doesn’t matter because we pushed through every single one. I lost a lot of people who were close to me and it was hard, but just like everything else you have to release to receive. I have let go of so much and have received everything back ten fold. I cannot put into words how grateful I am. We got a nicer place, I got promoted to sous chef, I saw my sister 3 times this year (more than I have in 5+). I have been teaching more and learning more, my life is changing more than ever. My community is built on safety, love, and respect, and I lead and follow with the same energy. I am grateful to be butchering more and to have someone who lets me go for it and lets me make mistakes. I am grateful for abundance, patience, and doing lots of grounding. I am looking forward to 28 and what she has in store for me. Thank you all for showing up for me and showing me so much love. Happy Capricorn season ❤️🎁♑️ by @chefjad3

Before Taurus season ends, I wanted to make my bi-annual post. This time last year, I was going through the hardest year of my life. I left a 7 year relationship, put myself into unspeakable debt to avoid eviction and having my car repossessed, was struggling to find a job I was happy with, and let go of many of the people who were closest to me. In all honesty, I didn’t think I’d make it here. But just like before, my community came through for me, supported me, and showed me that we can get through anything; I just have to speak up. And although it was the worst year of my life, it was simultaneously the best. I live with my best friend and Rafa and we’re unstoppable. I got a job that I love with a chef who consistently leads with intelligence, empathy, and grace. I tried psychedelics for the first time in my life and it was awesome. I’m going new places and trying new things. I’m surrounded by people who care deeply for me and let me know that I’m not alone. I’m baking, I’m creating, and I finally feel like I’m living. I got promoted at work. I’ve paid half of my debt. Rafa asked me to marry him. He’s loving, caring, selfless, supportive, and unwavering since day one so I said yes. We moved out of my apartment into a small home (that came equipped with bees), and I can’t wait to share the photos with you guys. It’s all very new for me and it’s scary but I’m surrounded by mutable signs and they’re beacons for change. I’m learning to let things go with ease and welcome new possibilities and it’s shown great reward. I’m happy to be here, and most importantly I’m happy to be free. As we enter Taurus season, a Scorpio full moon, and fifth month of the year I have been meaning to make a gratitude post. Entering this year I was in a very dark space, and my community came through for me more than I could have ever expected. I have been given more love, support, and space than I have ever had in my life. I’m always exhausted from working two jobs that I love and partying to much. I’m grateful for amazing coworkers and teachers. I am grateful to be with my people and living this life. I am grateful for sisterhood and abundant girls nights. I am grateful for my cats and my newest son, Henry. I am grateful for my small but mighty family. Mercury retrograde is coming to a close and I am grateful to be learning, releasing, and receiving. The only way out is through, and we are almost there 💓✨🥂 by @chefjad3
