✨ What an Unforgettable Experience: Being the Pope’s Personal Chef! 🍽️🙏🏽🙏🏽🇵🇬
I am overwhelmed with excitement and gratitude as I reflect on the incredible honor of serving as the Pope’s personal chef during His Holiness’s visit to Papua New Guinea! This experience surpasses anything I could have ever imagined, and I feel truly blessed to have been part of such a significant moment in our country’s history.
What makes this opportunity even more special is that I had the privilege of working alongside a talented and passionate crew of Papua New Guineans -Mary Mitaharo, Jack Mora and Reanna Tomsiafi.
Cooking for the Pope was both a profound responsibility and a joyful endeavor. It’s not everyday a Chef can say they cooked for the Pope.
Pope Francis exudes calmness, peace and humility.
This experience has inspired me and my team to continue pursuing our passion for cooking and hospitality and to keep pushing forward
Such an amazing experience ….

“Keep pushing forward, No matter what. No regrets” GCH

So this is the norm now. Constant blackouts.

The narrative is the El Niño effect. However… this has been the case in PNG for as long as I can remember.

Business houses are forced to run gensets and buy fuel at additional cost. Just another layer on the ever-rising cost of operating here, for every business house.

😔😔😔

Kitchen team finished the docket and paused on ops. Early smoko I guess
