I’m SO ecstatic to finally share something I’ve been painfully keeping under wraps! This year, I had the incredible opportunity to participate as a contestant on @americasculinarycupcbs , a new culinary competition show hosted by @padmalakshmi and judged by Michael @cimarustila and @wyliedufresne . The show premieres March 4 at 9:30 pm on @cbstv and streams on @paramountplus !Going head-to-head with some of America’s best chefs was, hands-down, one of the most challenging, humbling, stressful, and deeply rewarding experiences of my life. Make no mistake: these chefs SHOWED UP and brought their best. It’s an experience I’ll absolutely carry with me for a very very long time.I’m incredibly grateful to the many people who have supported me through this journey and have made opportunities like this possible, including my family and friends, business partner @felixmeana , and the @curatetapasbar staff who have held things down while I was away. I can’t wait to watch alongside all of you!America’s Culinary Cup premieres March 4 on @cbstv . by @chefkatiebutton

If you’ve dined at @curatetapasbar and have tried our Cúrate Sobrasada, you likely know and love this unique and delicious spreadable Charcutería option. However, what most may not be aware of is that you can now purchase some to take home after your meal in Cúrate’s retail section, or get it shipped to your door by ordering from Cúrate at Home.Often described as Chorizo butter, this peppery Mallorcan delicacy has a tangy acidity thanks to its unique fermentation process. It’s so good that it was recognized as a @goodfoodfdn awarded favorite after making its debut! We wanted to give you a different way to enjoy it outside of the classic pairing of baguette, goat cheese, and honey (don’t knock it ‘til you try it!). Swipe to get @chefkatiebutton ‘s recipe for a delicious and easy Sobrasada flatbread! And make sure to save ⛉ this post to keep this recipe on hand.SOBRASADA FLATBREADRecipe by @chefkatiebuttonINGREDIENTS1 tablespoon grapeseed oil1 medium yellow onion, sliced thin1/2 teaspoon salt1 package prepared flatbread1/2 pound yellow potatoes, sliced 1/8 of an inch thick1 teaspoon olive oil1 link Cúrate Sobrasada3 eggsfresh cracked pepper4 ounces soft goat cheese1 cup arugulaDetailed Instructions this way ⤷INSTRUCTIONSPreheat oven to 425 º FHeat 1 tablespoon grapeseed oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. The window to join our @travelwithcurate 2026 Barcelona & Costa Brava trip, happening from September 12 to 19, closes this week, and it's the only year the itinerary is offered at 10% off.Félix grew up in Roses, on the Costa Brava, and he still gets a jolt of pride every time he brings someone north of Barcelona, along the coastline he calls home, toward Cadaqués and Cap de Creus.Ask him what makes the region special, and he points to something he notices every time he goes back: no matter how much he travels, the place still catches him off guard with how beautiful it is. The landscape is a meeting point: cliffs and wind-scoured rock dropping into the Mediterranean on one side, the pre-Pyrenees rising on the other. That same coastline drew Salvador Dalí to paint in Cadaqués and Ferran Adrià to cook at elBulli, further up the coast.Félix calls it a restless kind of creative energy, the same pull that runs through the whole Barcelona & Costa Brava itinerary, all the way to its final stop in Roses. And for him, sharing this region with guests is less a job and more a chance to watch them fall for a place he already loves. The deadline to sign up for our 2026 Barcelona & Costa Brava departure is this Sunday, July 12th. Each year for more than a decade, the team at @curatetapasbar has had the honor of cooking a meal at Haywood Street’s Downtown Welcome Table. This year, for the first time, I brought my daughter with me, and it was truly magical. The best part of serving at the Downtown Welcome Table isn’t the food. It’s the connections. It’s sitting down together, sharing a meal, hearing people’s stories, and getting to know one another. As a parent, it was an incredible gift to watch my daughter experience the shared humanity that connects us all, especially with people whose life experiences may be different from her own.The Downtown Welcome Table creates a space where everyone belongs and where we are reminded of our common humanity, something that can feel increasingly rare these days.My heart is full of gratitude for this community and for the kindness, generosity, and love that exist within it.Learn more at @haywoodstreetcongregation by @chefkatiebutton

We care a lot about this wine list. Which is why it means a great deal when all these years of putting our heart into this menu is recognized.Thank you to @WineSpectator for awarding Cúrate Bar de Tapas with a 2026 Award of Excellence, honoring the all Spanish wine menu that has always been central to the Cúrate experience.Every bottle on this list has a reason for being here, from old-school producers to up and comers, and small growers we’ve had the joy of getting to know through our trusted importers. It’s a list developed through years of building personal relationships, connecting in person, tasting new and old wines across Spain, and our genuine affection for the people who make these wines. A true labor of love from Wine Director Jessica Salyer and co-founder Félix Meana.Thank you to Jess, Félix, and our whole team for continuing to make Spanish wine such a meaningful part of the Cúrate experience! by @chefkatiebutton

We had an incredible time at the 39th Annual Chefs’ Tribute: Wanderlust with @citymeals on Wheels!Inspired by my own culinary journey, I made Ajo Blanco, a chilled soup often called white gazpacho, served with crab, fresh cherries and pedro ximenez.Every dollar raised goes toward @citymeals mission to end elder hunger in NYC. I’m so honored to be a part of such a meaningful event alongside so many incredibly talented chefs.A big shout out and thank you to @guarnaschelli for looping me into the @citymeals cause. I leave in awe of what they have accomplished so far, delivering more than 72 million meals, and grateful to contribute to where they are headed next.To learn more, visit @citymeals.#Chefstribute2026 #Citymeals by @chefkatiebutton

It’s no secret that fathers and grilling go together like football and Sunday. This Father’s Day, give Dad a leg up at the grill with a little help from @chefkatiebutton: our Cúrate Pincho Moruno Rub, created in partnership with Asheville’s own @spicewalla.Our lamb Pincho Moruno has long been a @curatetapasbar favorite, so much so that Katie included the restaurant recipe in her Cúrate cookbook. She has since adapted its spice mixture into a single tin, making the dish even easier to prepare at home.Inspired by the Moors’ historical influence in Spain, this warm blend draws from both sides of the Strait of Gibraltar and works beautifully with grilled lamb, other meats, or vegetables.Add Olivar Cúrate Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Sal de Añana to your cart to equip Dad with the key pantry staples for preparing the marinade. To further stock his spice rack with Spanish seasonings, choose our Cúrate x Spicewalla 3-Pack, which includes the Pincho Moruno Rub, Spanish Pimentón, and Black Pepper for dishes well beyond the grill.Find the full recipe below, then shop everything you need through the link in our bio. by @chefkatiebutton

So, why DID we decide to offer travel and trip itineraries in the first place? The answer is pretty straightforward. Cúrate Travel grew naturally from the same ideas that inspired us to open @curatetapasbar : our hospitality roots, our genuine curiosity, and the opportunity to work alongside our friends and international food & bev community. When Katie first traveled through Spain with Félix, she saw what many Cúrate guests already know: he is an incredible host. He remembers the details, knows which places are worth returning to, and has a way of getting to the heart of each destination and opening those personal connections to others.Over the years, our personal travels became a natural extension of Cúrate. The wineries we work with, the chefs we admire, the producers we love supporting, our friends around the world who have welcomed us in, and the places Félix knows by heart all became part of a larger idea: what if we could bring guests with us?That idea became Cúrate’ Travel: small-group trips built around food, wine, culture, and the personal relationships Cúrate has fostered through years of travel and operating Cúrate Bar de Tapas. These are the places and people that, to us, make each destination feel alive.Follow @travelwithcurate to learn more about our travel program, and head to our website to explore upcoming itineraries! by @chefkatiebutton
