I’m back in love with Chia Pudding 🤤 been eating it every morning this week! I’m just one of those that typically have my second meal before noon but this keeps me full all morning 🥳

- chia seeds with oat milk — wait at least 20 mins for it to absorb the liquid, don’t forget to stir from time to time!
- strawberry purée — I got lazy and just chopped them instead
- top with granola, shredded coconut, almond slices, pumpkin seeds, honey drizzle 🍯 by @chefless.kitchen

Hi fam👋🏻, been a while, but that’s cause I’ve been eating the same old thing and had nothing interesting to share 😅 Well I finally had the motivation to explore more recipes so check them out!

We got these Taiwanese fresh noodles from H-Mart and tossed them in some sesame sauce. Taste it before you dump a bunch of sauce in though, the sesame taste can be overwhelming! Then I topped it with raw carrots, cucumber, tofu, and boiled egg. It’s such a quick and easy lunch, might be my go-to for a bit!

Sesame sauce:
- 1.5 tbsp sesame paste
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp hot water
- minced garlic by @chefless.kitchen

Tonkatsu (Pork) over rice! We got our pork loin cut from Trader Joe’s (their slices are thicker than Spouts), poked a few holes with a fork, seasoned with salt and pepper, dredged in flour, dipped in eggs, and dredged in Panko before throwing them into a sizzling hot pan. Easy peasy dinner. We prepared a total of 6, stored them in the fridge and will be frying them for dinner over the next couple of days ✨We’ve been eating so much pork as of lately! This might just be our favorite pork dish ~ by @chefless.kitchen

Blueberry Buckle by @bromabakery

This recipe is filled with fresh blueberries and lemon zest, a perfect combo! It was fairly easy to make, especially if you don’t have to scale up the recipe by x1.25 just because you only have a 9x9 pan size like me. What’s .3125 cup of butter? Idk. But I think I got it right lol by @chefless.kitchen

I’m into bowls lately. Also, they said something about how kimchi might protect us from covid? Not sure if it’s true but we have a jar in our fridge and just reading about it makes me crave it instantly 🤤 here’s a mix of random stuff I threw together!

- brown rice on a bed of spring mix
- stir fry spinach, broccoli, mushroom, ginger, garlic with oyster sauce and soy sauce
- roasted japanese yam with everything but bagel seasoning 😅, salt, pepper
- KIMCHI
- gochujang
- avocados
- fried egg by @chefless.kitchen

I’ve been craving Chipotle for months now but the sodium intake from their bowl is off the charts, at least for the items that I get. High sodium makes me feel bloated and dehydrated. No thanks!⁣ 🙅🏻‍♀️
⁣
So I decided to just whip up a version of my own. Here’s a rough ingredients list:⁣
⁣
- white rice (small amount)⁣
- grilled chicken thighs with homemade taco seasoning⁣
- roasted Japanese yams⁣
- roasted broccoli with garlic ⁣
- raw spinach⁣
- raw baby kale⁣
- avocados mashed and mixed with store bought pico de gallo (or make your own)⁣
- mild salsa⁣
- corn⁣
- black beans
- green onions
- lime juice by @chefless.kitchen

You know you’re old when getting a nonstick frying pan in the mail is like Christmas morning. Let me tell you why this pan makes my heart flutter 💗 ⁣
⁣
We got an amazing set of stainless steel cookware from our wedding a year ago but frying eggs in those have been nothing but disasters. We’ve been on a search for the best affordable frying pan and this is our winner.⁣
⁣
Zwilling Madura Nonstick Fry Pan is free of PFOA (toxic chemical in regular nonstick pans) and Teflon (another toxic chemical 🥴). It has raving reviews on its nonstick quality and I can’t wait to try!🍳 by @chefless.kitchen

Miso Pork and Eggplant Stir Fry 🐽 We have so much miso and don’t want it to go to waste! This dish was made in less than 30 mins and we’re definitely making more next week 😋 ⁣
⁣
Ingredients:⁣
- 1 American eggplant⁣
- 1 green onion ⁣
- 1 clove garlic⁣
- 1 knob ginger⁣
- 1 Tbsp olive oil⁣
- 1/2 lb ground pork⁣
⁣
Seasonings:⁣
- 2 Tbsp miso⁣
- 1-2 tsp sugar⁣
- 1 Tbsp mirin⁣
- 1 Tbsp sake⁣
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce⁣
- 2 Tbsp water (more if necessary)⁣
⁣
Serve with steamed rice⁣
⁣
- In a small bowl, combine 2 Tbsp miso, 1-2 tsp granulated sugar, 1 Tbsp mirin, and 1 Tbsp sake and mix all together until miso is completely dissolved.⁣
- Add 1 Tbsp soy sauce and 2 Tbsp water. Mix well and set aside.⁣
- Cut the eggplants into bite-size pieces. Soak the eggplants in water to prevent the color from changing.⁣
- Cut the white part of the green onion diagonally. Cut the green parts of the green onion diagonally and keep it for garnish. ⁣
- Thinly slice garlic and ginger⁣
- In a pan over medium heat, add oil, then cook garlic and ginger until fragrant ⁣
- Add the white part of green onions and pork into the pan⁣
- Cook until pork is almost cooked, then add eggplant, stir fry until eggplant gets slightly tender⁣
- Reduce heat to low, then add miso sauce mixture into the pan, cover with lid for 5 mins. Add water if there isn’t enough steam.⁣
- Remove from heat, garnish with green onions, serve with rice.⁣ Enjoy! by @chefless.kitchen
