Thank you to my team for believing in a vision that, when we started, we couldn’t fully see yet… but somehow knew we were chasing something special.
I have that same feeling as I start this journey of fatherhood. No clue what to do hut take that first step toward something special.

It’s been an honor watching each of you pour your talent, heart, and dreams into Chilte. What started as a vision of my own has become something so much bigger, a place that belongs to all of us in different ways. I’m incredibly grateful to share it with y’all.

Thank you for holding it down while I’m in the trenches on paternity leave. From deep-cleaning fryers to keeping the kitchen moving to bringing in those glowing reviews… I see you, and I couldn’t do this without you.

And iykyk, I can’t read but we looked at some sick pictures in this cool book together. Thank you again to A24 and TonyMovie.

Soo cool to be testing out these bad ass granita melons from @row7seeds a gorgeous cantaloupe vibe with a gently lime washed acidity. It found a perfect pairing with our scallop crudo: leche de maize, burnt onion, and nori salsa macha. taken in Chilte by @chefltsmith

It’s an honor to represent Phoenix for a story that resonates so deeply with my own.

Life doesn’t always take you where you expect. I thought my path would always be football, but losing that dream led me to something even greater. I found a new beginning in Phoenix, and I found my purpose in the kitchen. Through food, I’ve been able to build community, tell stories, and create opportunities I never imagined.

I’ve been dreaming about our baby shower since I found out I was pregnant. It really does take an entire village. Thank you to every single person that showed up for us.
