👩🏽‍🍳☀️I had the honor of catering breakfast and lunch at Tyler Perry Studios for Beauty in Black Season 2’s cast promo shoot. This wasn’t my first time working on set here, but hearing that Netflix specifically requested me was a moment I won’t forget.

No cameras were allowed on set, but I was able to capture a few behind-the-scenes glimpses from the second floor—just enough to share the energy, the food, and the gratitude I feel for opportunities like this.

Feeding hardworking people who bring stories to life? That’s a blessing I’ll never take for granted.

A little glimpse into my time in Serenbe, GA. 💛

I had the pleasure of catering a two-day retreat for an amazing group of nonprofit leaders, providing dinner, breakfast, and lunch throughout their stay. Three buffet-style meals, a beautiful setting, and a wonderful group to work with made this a great experience from start to finish.

A little work trip to Serenbe, GA. 💛

I had the pleasure of providing dinner, breakfast, and lunch for the nonprofit leaders participating in the Chick-fil-A Impact Accelerator, in partnership with Plywood People.

Two days of good food, meaningful work, and a change of scenery before heading back to Atlanta. And of course, I had to take a little time to explore Serenbe before hitting the road!🤸🏽‍♂️🤸🏽‍♂️

Summer, you kept me busy. 💛

From June through September, I had the opportunity to cook for birthdays, celebrations, intimate gatherings, corporate events, private dinners and everything in between.

I’m grateful for every person who trusted me to step into their home, their venue, their celebration and their special moments and feed the people they love.

Every event looked a little different. Every kitchen, venue and menu came with its own set of challenges!!

So before we officially turn the page on summer, here’s a little look at some of the moments that kept me in the kitchen.

Thank you to every client, family, event planner, venue and team who trusted me this season. I don’t take it lightly. 🫶🏾

👩🏽‍🍳18 years in the field. 9 years in business. And somehow… I’m still here!

In 2008, I started as a host at a local chain restaurant while I was in college. I worked my way from the front door to the back door, into management after graduation, and eventually to creating a business of my own.

And somehow, this little business has grown into a community of almost 10,000 people following along with me.

And the wild part? This was never part of the cards for me.

I have a degree in science, but cooking has always been a part of my DNA. What started as something I did out of survival somehow became my career, my business, and a life I never imagined for myself.

Nine years of Irons Cuisines.

Nine years of people trusting me with their celebrations, their events, their homes, and their daily nutrition. From my personal clients to complete strangers who trusted me enough to put my food on their tables — Thank You!!!

I can’t wait to see what Year 10 has in store. 🥂
