Motherhood, boundaries, guilt and the pressure to be everything to everyone. Sometimes, choosing yourself doesn’t mean you’re selfish. It simply means you’re human too. 🤍

Have you ever experienced this? Have you ever been called rude, disrespectful or selfish simply because you decided to set boundaries?

No grill? Worry not! You can make this delicious, smoky-ish grilled kidney right in your pan.

I’ve been craving grilled kidney because I absolutely LOVE it, so I decided to make some at home.

What I used:
Kidney
Salt
Oregano from @_byeesha
Curry
Seasoning cubes
Bell peppers
Onion
Suya spice
Vegetable oil
Skewers

I seasoned the kidney really well, threaded everything onto skewers with the peppers and onions, then pan-grilled until beautifully browned and charred.

And pleaseee… look at that colour! 😮‍💨

Would you try pan-grilled kidney or are you not a kidney person?

Still smiling over this beautiful experience 🥹❤️

One of my biggest takeaways from this masterclass was the beautiful souls I got to meet and connect with. It’s amazing how you can meet someone for the first time and somehow feel like you’ve known them forever. 🥹

To @chefamors @jamilaolawal @abidarabo @aniyah_events @baddieinevents and every beautiful face I connected with, thank you for pouring into us, sharing your knowledge and simply being amazing souls. ❤️

And @reedas_made 😭❤️ Meeting you genuinely felt like meeting an old friend! The connection was so effortless, you’re such a sweet soul and I’m so glad our paths crossed.

@meals_with_soffy and @lezzato_chinchin, thank you for the love and the amazing treats! You guys were incredible. 🥹❤️

And @leems_delectables thank you for the absolutely delicious meal! We ate GOOD! 😂🤭

I left the room not only with more knowledge, but with new connections, new inspiration and beautiful memories.

Here’s to more rooms, more learning, more collaborations and more beautiful people. In Shaa Allah. 🤍

@chef.maah We came to learn, but we left with so much more.
