Found this brisket at the market reduced to $10..yes, I don't mind if I do. Day off, gonna be hungry later...thought i'd do a slow-braise, spanish style..timo-style..we'll see.

We have duck drumettes as an appetizer. I was quite proid with how I stacked them this evening. We off them tossed in a "hot & sour sauce", "black garlic bbq", or "salt n pepa". ;-)

..i tend to lean towards preparing similar dishes to the ones my parents had always prepared for their three kids. This was always a fave; but I was a picky lil mama's-boy, & I made my mom peel the casing off the keilbasa..fmy. still, browned butter cheddar & potato pierogi's, egg noodles in scallion butter, keilbasa, succulent caramelized onions.

The daytime dishwasher always inquires about a chicken quesadilla special order for employee meal. Everytime I make one, I step it up a notch. I think I've reached the pinnacle with this model...blackened chicken, rajas, oaxaca cheese, cheddar, pico do gallo, scallion, grilled.

It looked so damn yummy I had to make one for myself before I left for the night!!!
