Still woozy over recent resident chef, Trevor Samuels McTear’s Valentine’s menu at the roadhouse. @cheftrev’s takeover had us gushing for the Dungeness crab toast, beetroot tartare, duck breast with fennel and kumquat chutney, and so many more dishes inspired by our Southern Humboldt terroir. Grab your humboldt honey and hit the roadhouse for a Valentine’s Week dinner series featuring resident chef, Trevor Samuals McTear. From Thursday, 2/12, through Sunday, 2/25, were serving up a special dinner menu for the lovebirds.

For reservations, text: 951 203-9521. On Valentine’s Day, we’re extending dinner service from 5PM to 9PM for those who like to eat early. Strongly recommend a reservation, we’re gonna fill up fast.

@cheftrev makes his return to the roadhouse this week after an incredible harvest season residency last Fall. We’re over the moon to have him back on the team as he brings his incredible vision for Northern California cuisine, fresh with locally sourced ingredients, to our kitchen. by @cheftrev

Thanks to all the DJs, performers, co-conspirators, goat staffers, food vendors, and flyer artists for helping to make it happen and thank YOU for coming! I’m looking forward to spending time together on the dancefloor in 2026!

For this auspicious installment I’ll be spinning 🌶️ spicies alongside @cheftrev and the big homeys @losgilestaqueria will be serving 🌮 🌮 🌮 on the patio.

Born and raised in Humboldt, Chef Trev has dedicated his culinary arts to showcasing our region’s unique ingredients. From studying culinary practices in Ireland to his past decade working in local restaurants and crafting pop-up experiences, he celebrates connecting farm-to-table community to coastal terroir. Let’s give Chef Trev some love this weekend as he shares an incredible menu with us and maybe we’ll convince him to play a set after dinner.
