A Sunday early evening woodland walk with my favourite woodland pixie @minnie_r0se10 as she worked on finishing her media project. Camera assistant, runner, mum, here for it all!

Does anyone remember what it was like before digital guide books/log books on fancy-smanshy phones?

Before a big climbing trip the reams of paper used to print out online rockfax guides or waiting till you got to your destination to buy a local guide book you were told about by word of mouth, put together by the locals and bought in the local shop. I don’t have many photos of any from my trips so each one of these holds some special memories and still have pride of place on my book shelf ❤️

I love that feeling when the wall is full of drawings and the project is finished. I have especially enjoyed illustrating this #mythogoria and I’m looking forward to seeing the finished book and the amazing artwork you wonderful colorists come up with! 🎨

Results are in!!!!
Up early this morning waiting for Child no.1’s, @frankie0_t A level results, the tension was high, but….
He smashed it!!
He got his first choice uni and will be off to the University of Birmingham to study Palaeontology and Geology.
You always said from the age of 3 that you wanted to be a palaeontologist, go get your dream my boy!!

Also, though you’re not doing art, super proud of your A* in Fine Art, you can now draw those dinosaurs.

What a great evening down @awesomewalls_stockport tonight.
Fantastic session coaching The Ridge Squad kids followed by a solar eclipse, then climbs and birthday cakes with fab friends. Good for the soul!

Happy Birthday to @this.leo.boulders & @jolouisecox
And special mention goes to Harry’s amazing vegan brownies 😋

Time now to sleep and wake for a productive day tomorrow 🤞🏾

Does it need more? Is it finished?
The constant questions that go round in your head when you are trying to finish an illustration so you can mentally move onto the next, and finish a project. Time is always ticking!

Quite pleased how this sneering, demonic demon hunter turned out, definitely giving Hell Boy vibes I think 🤔 😈

(I do like the slightly durpy demon familiars. Demons can be cute too!)
