This was such a fun concept and i really enjoyed the playful and none bloody sfx makeup!

Notes-
Four to five different stages of makeup . Note each one is slightly more sickly looking than the last. Drastic change with the moldy lips and hands . Mold is easily replicated but has several different stages which directly affect the colors of the fungus . Purple and black mold is easily noted as the most toxic mold whereas Green mold is the most common.

As Production designer i had so much fun working on this new project ✨.

"Ritual" directed by Noman yousafi is a Dedication and Recreation of Maya Deren's art. As a Woman who got her start in the early 1940s -1960 in experimental film, she's had an impact ! Not only on our director but the community as a whole.

With the film now being accepted to screen June 8th 2026 in the INEFF Film Festival(manchester shorts) in the shorts section🎉!!
