Makeup by me for Elle Magazine COVERgirl @aishabowe, as she and this amazing crew of women prepare to take flight to space! What an honor and a privilege it is to have been a part of this monumental shoot, during Women’s History Month at that, for such a historic mission. 🚀✨🖤

My teenage self is screaming! As someone who collected magazines, studied fashion + marketing, and was a contributing editor for a couple of my favorite publications growing up - this is full circle for more reasons than I can type out. And it’s even more special that I was able to use my gifts to advocate for a brilliant woman who looks like me and is breaking barriers in a space (no pun intended!) that we don’t often see ourselves in. Representation matters, at all times. I am forever in awe of the things that God keeps me in mind for. I don’t take any of it for granted.

Revisiting this ultra dreamy Glam for @zyahbelle’s “1-800 Heartbreak” music video! I got to create 5 or so different makeup look variations for this shoot, using some of my favorite beauty brands. Still obsessed w/ the glossy lid (bedroom scene) and the matte Barbie pink lip look that ended up being used for the single cover art!

This project was extra special because I got to wear many hats, overseeing production and also collaborating w/ Zy on wardrobe! We worked together to source, pull, and style looks for every scene. It was truly a labor of love and teamwork! 💋 #ChellzDidIt

What an honor to provide glam for @ilovethedoux Boss Lady and co-founder Maya, for the 2024 Culture Creators Innovators and Leaders Brunch, this past BET Awards weekend! They were honored and awarded as Culture Creator’s “Rising Stars”, which is beyond well deserved. We decided on a monochromatic brown smoky eye/vampy lip lewk to go with the ‘fit, and it was everythingggg. #ChellzDidIt ✨

On a personal level, I can attest to how amazing The Doux’s products are; they have altered my relationship w/ my natural hair in the best way possible.
