I’ve loved soccer my whole life. It’s in my bones. I grew up in the 99er era. Going to Beat games. Saturdays spent at the field with my best friends. Traveling the country competing. I couldn’t get enough. And now as an adult, I still can’t get enough. Women’s soccer is more important to me than ever before. It’s the reason I opened a bar. I wanted a place to watch @nwsl games.

Soccer fans in Atlanta have been waiting for a team since the days of Bri Scurry and Sun Wen. And now it’s happening. Finally. @atlcty is here. She’s alive. A phoenix born and forged and soaring.

To be part of this announcement and launch is truly one of the greatest honors I think I’ll ever have. This sport means everything to me. This city is home. This city is rising. This city plays different. Let’s go, ATL. by @chelmannn

wowza I have loads to catch up on here, but I have to start with a really beautiful night a couple of weeks ago with @unitedwayatlanta @unitedway

@thebighabowski decided I was worthy enough to be honored alongside some atlanta GIANTS at the Women United Toast To Her 🥂 (thank you 🙏🏼)

it was one of those really special nights where everyone was giddy and gorgeous and encouraging and fun and kind. I was just happy to be in the room, but then my dear friends @verations and @morgansparker put some insanely sweet words together to toast me with. it’s not often I’m lost for words, but wow, I was moved in a way I’ve never been moved before. I respect these women so so so deeply, so to be honored by them and among them is not something I take lightly.

thank you to the beautiful and talented and passionate @verations. You are as genuine as they come and I’m so happy to be on this ride with you!

thank you to my chosen leader and influencer and friend @morgansparker for paving a path for women like me to follow. you have done the impossibly hard work of building tables and creating room for allllll people and voices and this city and I are better for it.

what a joy it is to celebrate each other’s successes and wild hopes and huge dreams. God is good now and always. may we all continue to fight for rooms like this one because that is where we are all meant to be. by @chelmannn

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Jolene’s grandma ❤️‍🔥 We (mostly me) love you so so so much. So thankful for the woman you are and the example you’ve set. How lucky am I to have you as a friend, teacher, role model, travel companion, cheerleader, and most importantly, tattoo buddy.

Love you, mom. Happy birthday 🥳 by @chelmannn
