A story written in ink. 🖤

Of all the things I’ve carried through this life, I think the most beautiful have been the chapters I never saw coming. The seasons that brought me to my knees. The prayers that were answered differently than I imagined. The beauty that somehow found its way through all of it.

There is something sacred about becoming. About learning to bloom where God plants you, to remain rooted when life gets uncomfortable, and to trust that even the seasons of pruning have a purpose.

And that little bee. 🐝

My favorite detail of them all…
A reminder that a life well lived isn’t measured by how much we accomplish, but by what we cultivate along the way. The communities we build. The people we love. The seeds we plant in places we may never get to see bloom. 🌱

I want my life to bear good fruit. Not because I’ve mastered love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, or self-control, but because I believe they’re worth spending a lifetime pursuing. I’m still a work in progress. Still turning pages. Still learning the ways I need to grow, when to rest, when to let go, and when to trust the hands of the One writing my story. When the last page turns, I hope the life I’ve lived speaks louder than anything I could ever say.

I am seriously loving how this piece turned out!! The delicate florals, soft shading, and beautiful placement make this one of my favorite designs I’ve gotten to do lately! 🥹

One of my favorite artists is @jkylxhyde and to be able to watch him at Red Rocks was absolutely insane! This show was freaking killer and I cried! His music brought me through such a hard time in my life after my divorce so it’s so cool to just see him in person 🤍

This is so much more than tattooing to me. 🤍

Before I ever opened the doors to my studio, God gave me a vision for what I wanted this space to be.

I wanted it to be beautiful, yes. I wanted to create meaningful art and give women an experience they felt good walking into. But more than any of that, I prayed that God would use this space.

I prayed that the women who sat in my chair would feel safe enough to talk, to be vulnerable, to laugh, to cry, to share pieces of their stories and that when the opportunity came, I would have the courage to pray with them and remind them that there is light even in the hardest parts of life.

This particular tattoo was incredibly meaningful to create. Without sharing a story that isn’t mine to tell, there was so much heart behind every detail of this piece. Getting to sit with her, listen to her, pray over her, and then turn something so meaningful into art she can carry with her was something I’ll never forget.

Moments like this remind me that my job has become so much bigger than I ever imagined.

I don’t just want to tattoo people. I don’t just want to do makeup. I want to serve people well. I want God to use the gifts He gave me in whatever way He chooses. If that means someone leaves my studio feeling a little more seen, a little more loved, a little more hopeful, or a little closer to Him, then this business is doing exactly what I prayed it would do.

This is why I do what I do. And I’m so grateful He trusted me with it. 🤍
