Happy Father’s Day to the man who makes it all look effortless, even though I know it isn’t.

This has been in the works for years. 🙏

We’ve had countless conversations in the small, quiet moments about God’s love and the sacrifice He made to pay for our sins in full. Over the years, I’ve noticed they do their deepest thinking when they’re outside—just like most of us.
Somehow, the best conversations about Jesus seem to happen there. Whether they’re exploring, sitting in the grass, or helping Mom in the garden, that’s where they find peace, understanding, and space to ask the big questions.

A couple of months ago, they said they were ready.
They had the option to be baptized inside the church, but when they learned they could also be baptized outside in the lake, I immediately knew which choice they would make.

So here we are, anxiously waiting for August 30th, when they’ll be baptized in the lake water—barefoot, just like they always are, and outside where their hearts long to be. 🙏 by @chelsae_plemmons

That’s a wrap on 5th and 1st grade! They’re excited to leave their shoes off unless it’s time for ball or church. 🤣

Doc has helped get the girls to and from school nearly every day since he’s been with us so I had to include him in this post. Ready to make countless memories this summer together! ☀️ 🐾 🌊 by @chelsae_plemmons
