Moving Art 1: complete!! 🌟❤️

This program was a fantastic start to my first season as a Company Apprentice with @richmondballet ! Performing in Paul Taylor’s ‘Company B’ and Andy Blankenbuehler’s ‘Remember Our Song’ to music by the Andrews Sisters and Benny Goodman was an absolute dream come true- I couldn’t have asked for a more exhilarating & rewarding opening to the 2026/2027 season! 🥰

A HUGE thank you to @rchensee and @laurenekias for your wisdom, trust, and passion in setting these wonderful pieces on us. I have learned so much under your guidance, and I will always cherish these past few months dearly.

Thank you to everyone involved in making this production happen. I loved every minute of sharing the stage with all of my fellow Company dancers, learning and improving under Artistic Staff, and being able to perform with the help of the incredible Production, Costume, Marketing, and Development teams! Here’s to a momentous season ahead of us! 🥂🥳

Originally from Fredericksburg, Chelsea trained at School of Richmond Ballet before joining the Trainee Program and later the Studio Company. Her journey reflects years of dedication and growth within the Richmond Ballet family. We are excited to watch her begin the next chapter of her career in the 26/27 season! by @chelsea.hacking

the end of an era 💫🔜

I am incredibly honored and excited to announce that I have been offered a Company Apprentice position with the Richmond Ballet for the 2026/2027 season! These past two years in Studio Company have been nothing less than wonderful, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experiences I had, the things I’ve learned, the people I’ve met, and the memories I’ve made. I am eagerly looking forward to my seventh year with my Richmond Ballet family!

Tour with these amazing people was everything I could’ve asked for. We danced, we celebrated, we laughed, and we cried. A rewarding, exhausting, and fantastic finale for the end of a fantastic season. I love you all so much and I will cherish all the moments we shared this year. ❤️💚🧡
