Dear Old Clemson,

It is difficult to put into words what this place has meant to me.

What began as a commitment letter to a university eight hours from home quickly became my own home, a community, and a chapter of life that far exceeded anything I could have imagined. Through the people I’ve met, the opportunities I’ve been given, and the memories made along the way, Clemson has shaped me in ways for which I will always be grateful.

There is something special about a place that makes leaving feel bittersweet. In many ways, that is why I am not quite ready to say goodbye. The opportunity to continue my education here is one I cherish, not simply because of the degree itself, but because it allows me a little more time in a place that has given me so much.

Thank you, Clemson, for the experiences, the friendships, the lessons, and the countless moments that made this place feel like home.
